This Rom will be available in 6X Versions 2x Cube: 2x Non-Cube: 2x Lite Rom
This Rom is the based on a new Build CE OS 5.2.19209 and new Build 5.2.19209

There will be 3 roms compatable with the latest AT&T Radios 1.65.14.06 and Radio 1.65.17.10
VERY IMPORTANT TO HARD RESET AFTER FLASH AND ALSO PLEASE POWER DOWN & POWER ON YOUR DEVICE AFTER CUSTOMISATION.

This Rom is also compatible with most or all of the wm6.1 radios including, Niki and Polaris.
Microsoft voice Command fully integrated and tweaked out the box with also working incoming call notification
OEM Keyboard and HTC TouchKeyboard included
Skype also now works on this new build

There is a space between ...cu.. and ..be.. remove it and your good, at least with the non cube vrsion compatible with the new radios.

Do you pull the battery?

Do you just turn off the screen and then turn it back on?

yeah just turn ur phone on and off, tried it at recently and my device running perfect, I cannot swear on it but it help me out i think as i havent experience any missing upper bar so i might sound superstituous

its been awhile, but if i remember correctly, when you're setting up your acct. it will appear that you have to pay because of it asks you to select your package from having your messages transcribed and sent as a text. but, pick one just so you can set up your account and you dont have to enter any credit card information as you dont get billed for anything the first 30 days i believe. its one of those trial until....that auto bills:) then once its done go into your settings and choose not to have your messages transcribed which is the part that costs, and i have no use for, as i only want to see who the are from first and choose. f you need to be extra sure, just contact cust care and confirm that youre not being billed.

Dos problemos:

1) HTC Home, in the tab under Settings-> Today-> HTC Home is gone. No big deal I can hack some things to fix the way things are displayed.

2) Again, HTC Home, my weather won't download. Is anyone else having the problem? Maybe the servers are temporarily down? (It says Unable to Retrieve Data for Selected City..."

Saw in one other thread about Voice Command 1.6 and TouchPal causing problems in most 6.1 ROMs. Maybe unrelated to your problem.

Did you see TouchPal 3 is out, some nice additions but the current skin is horrendous.

No that is a problem specific to the radio version 1.65.17.10; however, if you download the 1.65.14.06 version it will not work with the niki radios, you should instead download the other version of the same rom. Dutty was very kind and made a version that all us who are stuck with the 1.65.17.10 radio from hell can use. Thanks again dutty!

hmm i hvent noticed this in other roms maybe its same, but after pim restore, the msgs load like one every few sec after the restore and start to fill up my inbox :/ its hmm taking its time...

also does anyone know how to combine an old pim backup that had the sms and mms separate? cause i think my mms or sms are lost from my 8525 :( and that sucks a lot, is there some way to extract the pim backs so o can have for my own reference or history on pc? or some other format?

i do miss the old task manager? the short lite version? thats how i end tasked stuff :/ it only took what 160k and it was really nice when i had it tagged to a button

AFAIK, the only radio so far to be undowngradable is the 1.65.17.10.
The 1.65.14.06 is still downgradable, but only useable with ROM versons 3.14.502.1 and up.
Since some people are involuntarily stuck with the 1.65.17.10 radio, dutty made his roms compatible with that and the previous radios.

I'm getting nothing at all with the Office apps. Clicking a shortcut, running the exe directly from the Windows folder and trying to open a .doc file all just do nothing at all. No error message, no beep, nada.

I tried installing Office again from a cab file but was told I didn't have the correct permissions. I'm guessing this is because it's trying to overwrite files stored in the ROM?

I'm going to keep trying...

OK If you Browse through Total Commander to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Office Mobile\ And Tap and Hold say the Word Shortcut and select properties. Click the Shortcut Tab Where is it Pointing? Next Try Browsing to \Windows\ Find pword.exe Tap-Tap to Open. Does that work?

i was going to warn the other guys not to open them as you cant end task it... it gives you an error saying to close and that the app has no window and then an error box with nothing in it or something to that effect and nothing happens...

I do not use the physical keyboard on my phone which makes it a huge hassle to type emails with the usual small-keys keyboards. no its not....usually its recommended that you soft reset after you install each program to avoid any issues...so try that and you would be good and plus all of your programs would run better!

No that is a problem specific to the radio version 1.65.17.10; however, if you download the 1.65.14.06 version it will not work with the niki radios, you should instead download the other version of the same rom. Dutty was very kind and made a version that all us who are stuck with the 1.65.17.10 radio from hell can use. Thanks again dutty!

I tried both non cube versions & both had the same problems with office. Also had weird problems with sip change & issues with some cabs unsucessful when trying to install. The other programs that had issues were TCMP and CorePlayer. Went back to the 04/16 ROM and no problems at all.

April 1st was good (my first dutty ROM), but I was unable to get MSVC announcement over bluetooth with that one. August 16th (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=383638) was better for me, and what I am going back to until these office issues get resolved.

Ok, I tried taking Office 6.1 files and extracting them using the Package Creator. After extracting all the files from the CAB, I made a folder with the files inside.

I then used Resco Explorer and transfered all the files directly into the \Windows folder and soft-reseted. Thinking this would fix the problem....WRONG!!!!!

Well as everyone else seems to be doing, back to Apr 16th for me!!!

Try flashing your original ROM back before flashing this one. I was having some funnies with mine and took P1Tater's advice to do this. Made a big difference. You should be able to find the ROM's in the ROM flashing guide (off the WIKI) and in one of the threads is P1Tater's step by step.

HTC Touch Keypad and Keyboard instead of pcm (or both, provided they're compatible).

Cube should be an option and transcriber should be in the no-cube version.

TCMP working for Youtube (as per the 19400 version) and not sure if possible but Skype working.

Your April 1st ROM is the best I have tried. It is on all my 3 tilts. I can go three and a half days without recharging, with normal to light use. The ROM accommodates MSMOffice, iGO 2006, Internet Exp. Pro, and any program I deem useful without glitches. I had to re-map MSVC to the OK ( key 4 ) button, since it was erroring out but since the remap, all is well. The ROM is also very stable. I can not say it is fast, or faster than any rom out there, it the speed is sufficient.

I just flashed to your new rom, but i had to re-flash to the April 1st Hybrid back.

In any case, thanks for your great efforts... you are a valuable asset to this forum.

As for the bad radio, everyone should stop flashing, quite spooky, once HTC can distribute radio's that don't uninstall, they'll start devising methods of ensuring that roms stick :(

Hey perhaps you can help me out with this. I was having trouble figuring out how to set my city with UC. I searched and came accross info on the HTC home.dll cab, but what isn't clear is exactly how to make UC set my zip/city for me if its already in the list of options (I used to have to add it, but then I think through some of the HTC Home updates it started being there as an option from the start).

Thanks for any help you can give. I can't really figure out what to do with the xml code...or maybe I have to create my own custom home.dll cab. Not really sure.

I was asking as Dutty's Wiki states he doesn't have a radio in the version before this one, but there is one there as I had to re-flash my radio from 1.58 to 1.64... So if one of the versions here that was intended for those users stuck on that new AT&T radio and it actually has that radio in it then I would obviously want to avoid that version :)

Yeah, maybe but until I found xda and dutty great efforts I couldnt watch youtube videos (dont know why but flashbundle and tcmp didnt' seem to work). Voice command didnt' work right, I didnt' even have 6.1. Was excel and word even in the previous WM version (cant remember, because I came from a blackjack)?

Didnt have the great HTC utilities. I'm pretty happy giving dutty some time to sort out the difficulties. He's been pumping out the new versons so fast lately that there's bound to be issues until everyone has a chance to sort them out. I think the last really stable build he had out was the 199 version.

Agree about the Broken bit, but there is no way I would consider going back to an OEM after using Duttys. I keep looking to update my 9/4 RTM Dutty ROM and keep finding something broken that I would rather have fixed prior to reflashing. So I am holding off for now. I really like your ROMs and will sit back and wait until one fits the bill for me.

I've downloaded and extracted the files and im left with an exe file of 365kb and a nbh file of 95mb, however when i try to run the exe nothing happens ...

Dos problemos:

1) HTC Home, in the tab under Settings-> Today-> HTC Home is gone. No big deal I can hack some things to fix the way things are displayed.

At work, there is a vrey weak Orange UK signal and a full power Voda (due to tower next to my office)

There are very few places in the office where I can get an Orange signal..(two bars and only G...never ever 3G)

The wired thing is that after flashing (Cube ROM with 1.61.08.21) in the store room (where no orange signal ever existed) I am seeing a full signal with 3G icon!..

Thought that i finally found the invicible radio lol.. but hold ur horses..

It seems that the device is "seeing" the voda signal and thinking that its an orange one (or something down those lines) cos as I try making a call or data connection I get the message "The Operation Failed"...

So I guess the Radio is a no go in Crowthorne :(

try this. make sure you are firmly pressing on both softkeys, after about 3 seconds poke the reset hole while still pressing the softkeys (Don't Move, keep still, Don't breath). if nothing happens for about 10 seconds, try it again after boot.

this happens to me sometimes where I try for about 2-5 times before it hard resets.

The reason you Hard Reset after flashing is because not everything from the previous ROM is removed when you flash a new one. The Hard Reset set's everything back to how it was orginally. Doing this at the "Tap Screen to begin" point ensures that when the ROM begins setup/customisation you will have a clean system.

i have never been charged for anything at all. the only way it charges is if you want your messages transcribed and sent through text. i dont need all that. just want the ability to see who each message came from before listening to them. and, it worked on all duttys roms. just not once he moved to the 19209 builds, i could not get any messages to be delivered. i may try when dutty releases the next update for the V2 release.

Its a good thing that Xda-DEvs Actually exsists than. Otherwise we would never know of the trick. MY Hard Reset Trick to to Set the phone flat on the table and use two Pencils like CHopsticks to press the soft buttons. Eliminates my large fingers from the equation.

I have a suggestion, which mostly involves reading a little more carefully. Dutty noted that office is not working right now in the second post. He's working on a fix, and fixed rom.

Your April 1st ROM is the best I have tried. It is on all my 3 tilts. I can go three and a half days without recharging, with normal to light use. The ROM accommodates MSMOffice, iGO 2006, Internet Exp. Pro, and any program I deem useful without glitches. I had to re-map MSVC to the OK ( key 4 ) button, since it was erroring out but since the remap, all is well. The ROM is also very stable. I can not say it is fast, or faster than any rom out there, it the speed is sufficient.

I just flashed to your new rom, but i had to re-flash to the April 1st Hybrid back.

In any case, thanks for your great efforts... you are a valuable asset to this forum.Sorry Dutty, have to agree with asfoor: April the 1st really is the best ever...

My provider is att wireless in US. I found that after applying automatic carrier settings, the right setting is not chosen. Even then, I needed to remove proxy server configuration. But once that was done, no problems.

Yeah, right now i don't have much of a choice, haha. I actually agree with ATW about the niki radio being the best, but gotta make due for now till the big brains around here figure out how to get me untrapped.

This version has taken a step back re using TCPMP - it gets a crash message when trying to use an older tcpmp.

It worked fine in the last 19209 release a week ago or so. In fact it worked fine in almost all of Dutty's 6.1 Roms until this one.

Also - both this version and the last above mentioned ver have corrupted dialer images.

What was the reason for this version - other than a different radio? Is the .06 radio better??

Please don't take so much of the good of this one with the hybrd..cube is so fast and cool for instance.V2 hopefully will have everything we want in one phone:).majority of the people are not stuck with their radios..a rom that is compatable with all the radios should be first to release..what do you think? :) i feel everyone who is locked to the radio from ATT..they got us back huh:)

Not sure if this is being reported. I found the "Photos" and "Videos" open by the cube will turn up side down.

But open it thur Start menu seems to work fine.

The following behavior I have observed on all the Dutty's ROMs and possibly other roms.

I have paired my kaiser with parrot mk6000 car kit. Profiles work great. However, after hanging up from a phone conversation, the pairing gets broken. Appoximately a minute later, it appears that phone or car kit is redescovered, and pairing is reestablished. Is this an issue with car kit or the phone?

The new radio AT&T - 1.65.17.10
seems not to work properly with this rom even with the cube version that says will work with it

the issue i have is when i tell it to be silent or vibrate it changes the icon in title back and htc home but when someone calls me it says voice command name and ringers

but in vibrate and silent neither should happen.

any ideas?

Id say phone cus my phone does the same sometimes with my jawbone. Sometimes ill be on a call on my headset and then it goes straight to the phone. The blue light still flashs on the phone and comm manager says bluetooth is on and all is good but obviously all is not good. I then have to click my headset for it to reconnect to my phone. Ive had this happen on numerous dutty roms but doesnt happen too often.

For me it is simple, DUTTY is making 2 versions one with HTC CUBE taken from HTC Touch models and second one is without this cube like it is in orriginal Kaiser rom.
