Messenger Through Wifi`

hello everyone...I have a question...

Which is the best messenger for wm6 that will let me connect through wifi.
I am planning to connect my Tmobile wing thought my wifi and use msn/yahoo messenger.

for some reason when I try to add a new server msn/yahoo I get msg saying I cannot add service. im trying from school wifi now, I know that school blocks these ports....could that be the reason.? thx in advance
