i get a P51 last week. And now i don`t no if i can do your update also on a P51-Prototyp? In a other forum i read, that i need 3 files for the XSCD-Tool. Is your update a Autoupdate? Where is all in one?

Hi bro.

With XSCD-Tools you need 3 files to flash , exactly.
But with USBDN.exe you can flashing with only one file, yes that i mean a ROM file.

1. press "browse" to find for a ROM file.
2. no need to check a "[ ] XIP BIN"
3. Press download to sending the ROM data to P51.
(Your P51 connected with USB flashing mode)

** after you press a Download , you may see the progress bar run so fast,
and seem like the P51 did't response for data. Please press Download again.

and wait until the P51 startup.

This tool can't run on Vista.

i'm not good at English , but i'll keep try to explain.

Just a bit more info. I have been playing with your rom vs other ROMs. I have found your version being quite stable except for the Voice Clips. Other WM6 ROMs may have the Voice Clips working but not very stable particularily the bluetooth connection. The system often freezes.

I have also tried to insall Windows Live Mobil 10.6 on top of your ROM and found the same problem. It may well relate to other module(s). When Voice Clips is pressed, the system does try to record. You will find the tmp in Windows Live tmp directory but zero length. Somehow the system can't start the recording. If fixed, the ROM is nearly perfect as far as I am concerned.

With the ROM translating .... i have no idea for German , because i'm Thai.
and i think it's hard of work ,,,, otherwise you are a programmer and extract my ROM and translate then rebuild the ROM.
but..do you know,most of ROM on another device in my country.
We did't use Thai's user interface ,we use to read and typing only.

Additional information for XCSDtool, you can select one,two or three if you need. It's official tool by BenQ. It's easy way for new guy to uprom because it’s BenQ flash software.

Install XCSDTOOL to your PC

Prepare your P51 with full Battery
1. Make sure you already disconnect USB port
2. Unrar all file from download file (P51.rar)
3. Hold pressing Power Button and use stylus hold pushing reset button 3sec
4. Then release both of the buttons and hold pressing Voice Command button (Above volume button)
5. Hold pressing until the Screen change to blue color with text USB
6. Connect USB with your PC and P51 screen will show text USB connected
7. Open software XCSDTOOL
8. Click model > P51
9. Click View > Smart phone OS USB Download
10. Click OS EP File Choose file EP210110.nb0
11. Click OS Image File Choose file P51210110.nb0
12. Click GPRS File Choose file P51110810.mot (or old one P51110610.mot download link below)
13. Click Run
14. Watch screen P51 when text show complete download then click OK at your PC
15. After finish 3 file, P51 will automatic reset
16. Enjoy it !!!

You can select only item 11 if you need to up OS only.

Enjoy with P51 rom by Mono.

thanks for ur patience ;) mono, i try to download from pdamobiz but i am far away from thailand and when i try to download from uploadd it allows me to download 2kb-3kb sometimes it doesnt allow me thats why i say rapidshare.it is universal and faster for every country

GPS is too slow. It take 10-15 minutes to locate sattelites. And also poor cellular network receive. I try 206 and 990 ver. I'll try 701 ver also to look. This is My HW problem or somthing alse??

Hello,

today i would install the "P51110810.mot"-file for my first test the usbdn-tool. Everytime the update abort on 33% or 80%. In the xcsd-tool i get the message: "write file failed". I don`t no how much i test it. Only the "19209_Clean_CF2_PG6MB_WWE.nb0"-file i can update with the xcsd-tool. What are my mistake???

thanks for the marvellous ROM!... except that theres some wifi problem, everytime i try to connect to my wireless, the pda just hang. Is it me or someone else having the same problem?
For your info, its a belkin N wireless router, with 10 digit WEP security code
