I had the same thing recently caused by not unticking allow USB connection in activesync. I tried to do it 3 times before I realsed what the problem was. I had to use MITY to reset the unit then reflashed the ROM & it was OK.

keno0115 it was exactly my case. Here is how I solved:
First flash it back to original jasjar rom (WM5). But to do so:
1- Unhook your jasjar from your computer
2- Untick "USB Connection" in ActiveSync
3- Press light button+power button+reset button to go to bootloader mode
4- plug-in usb cable to hook up to the computer
5- Run JasJar Rom update as usual
6- Hard reset your jasjar to see WM5 is working fine
Then flash it to ranjus rom. To do so:
1- Download http://rapidshare.com/files/36286892/UNI_upgrade_issues_and_solutions.rar
2- Extract Country_Id_Error folder under Rom Unlock folder
3- Extract Ranjus's rom (or any other WM5 or 6 or 6.1 rom) to a folder
4- Copy nk.nbf to the extracted Country_Id_Error folder (step2)
5- Unhook your jasjar from your computer
6- Untick "USB Connection" in ActiveSync
7- Press light button+power button+reset button to go to bootloader mode
8- plug-in usb cable to hook up to the computer
9- Run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe from Country_Id_Error folder
10- After flashing finished do a hard reset. And wait 2 or so minutes to calibration screen come up.
11- Tick back again "USB connection" in ActiveSync, to use activesync again
Hope that helps.
