hey guys, first of all thanks to dutty for a great rom.

secondly, keyboard issue.

when i type it does this to me:

just like another guy before me,w hen i am typing quickly on here it adds the first letter of the word before the space, as if the space is lagging. this is just plain friggin annoying and i want to delete this rom for afecting my writing like this.

yes...i have installed the cab to get rid of xt9a nd shut offt he autocomplete and adda space after the word.

what the heck can i do to remedyt his situation? is eriously and ready to crap-can (putting it nicely) this rom and gets omething else JUST because oft his issue

Is this ROM pretty good?
I'm looking for something with good media capabilities, mainly music, but also games and video. Internet is a must too, but I can just install my own Skyfire or Opera if it doesn't come with a good one.
The Cube is pretty cool too, but is there a better ROM with a better Cube that you can edit? I would want to change around the icons if possible.

I'm pretty new here, so if anyone could help me out I want to find a good first ROM to try and flash to my Tilt (I've been reading the tutorials and stuff on youtube about it).

Go to Programs then System Tools then click FTouchFLoConfig and then press the General tab at the bottom and check Enable FTouchFLO. once that's done I think the Cube you gotta change the timeout(in milliseconds.) Could someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you for your help I was looking everywhere to have the cube enabled. But, it seems that the Cube feature has really lost its luster. Looks like ROMs are coming with the option of NOT having it. Is this Just to save space? Or is it because its a hard program/feature to start. I recall a Dutty youtube where even Dutty is trying a few times to get the Cube to open properly :mad: Anyways it seems that the Cube may be redundant with most of the Cube features being ready at one button vs. being at the ready of multiple upward slides on the face with unlookers thinking your costly toy doesn't work... :confused: .... not cool:cool::mad:

i recently chnaged to this ROM from, from Hyperdragon III. When i was using the hyperdragon ROM, the time stamp on txt mesages showed me the time i received it, however now that iv relfashed to dutty's 6.1, the time is replaced by just the day i received it (so instead of it telling me i got the txt at 3pm, it would just put month/day, ie 01/22).


is there anyway to fix this problem? so that the time a txt is received is displayed rather then the date?

I haven't had any luck finding a solution to this issue, so if anyone has seen one posted please accept my apologies and point me to it.

For some reason, only some Caller ID's show up in my text messages. When they don't it's just the phone number that does.

I've tried deleteing the contact and Add To Contacts from the text messaging window (by tapping on the phone number) but that doesn't appear to resolve the issue.

This is not a huge deal as I don't text too much, but every now and then I find myself scrolling through all my contacts to see if I have a phone number match to some innocuous "hey man, what's going on?", to which I reply, "not bad...who the freak are you?", and am indulged with, "It's your brother, you idiot." No, I don't know his number off the top of my head thanks to decades of speed dial + Photo Contacts Pro.

On an unrelated note, I've been using Dutty's ROMs since the day I got my Tilt (Spring '08 in great part to this forum). When Dutty left to work on the Diamond ROMs I did some window shopping for other ROMs that were still being developed but nothing has grabbed me. Thanks to Dutty and all those who continue to provide support!

I tried to search for this issue with the ROM, but did not find anything.

I have had this ROM nearly a year and lately it has started locking up and getting very slow.

I have not added any new programs and I have hard reset the tilt a couple of times.

Would reflashing this ROM help?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I can't tether my tilt to my laptop because this rom doesn't have the icon "wireless modem" in settings, conections...before i scrap this rom and go back to stock...is there a way to get wireless modem back?

i use this image since april .... works perfect exept when i put skype to the home screen it freezes sometimes. same with EQO messenger on homescreen.
I saw the experia x1 ... nice phone but i work with my kaiser ass well :-)

If You're preety sure Your Kaiser had been set HardSPL, then You can just continue by clicking KaiserRUU.exe, You should have more than 50% battery charged and stable electricity, rest let's wait and pray :)

It's not called "Wireless Modem". This uses Internet Sharing and there is a Icon somewhere. Sorry been so long since I used this I have a shortcut on my Start Bar.. But it is there.. I tether all week as I am on the road and works wonders..

i have an unlocked att tilt with hard spl 3.29 and this rom and when i get a call it says incoming call form and then the persons name and i was wondering waht that option is called because i never had it on att shipped rom so i want to know how to mess around with that feature on a shipped rom. please let me know and thanks for the awesome roms

I think you could go to File Explorer/My Device/Windows folder & search for the input that your looking for; Copy it to your Storage Card. If it has a Windows Media Icon, when you press on it you could here the audio. Flash your OEM Rom; then search File Explorer/My Device/Windows folder and paste your selection in the folder. Then go to Sounds & Notification see if its listed in the scroll down bar and add it as your phone ring? I did this for a SMS tone I liked in a previous rom.

That's not a problem with the ROM cut down the size with an audio editer like Audacity or the likes, sms's always play the whole file.....

Strange, it doesn't happen with me, i always went back when i get bored with M2D or WM6.5, and everything is normal.

Had You hard reset after flashing?
Try other PC?
Try other cables?

I'm brazilian, I flashed my TyTN II with an original portuguese Rom, because I couldn't use accente characters with the querty using this version of Dutty's Rom.
So, here's the thing, how can I use only theme and htc home of Dutt's Rom or there is some querty fix to use accented characters for Dutty' Rom.

Note: I found a fix on this thread, but accented character still don't work.

The links are still on btw if anyone's looking for them. But I don't exactly remember whether I downloaded them from here or another page, as my last week has passed with aprox. 10 flashes-rom installations and I just saved my mind.

I would like to ask for help for some problems with my ROM (_WM6.1_5.2.19700_Hybrid_V2_1_65.14.06_No_CubeV2) but first of all if anyone's gonna ask why I installed those while there are newer roms out there etc.

I just like "clean" nice ones, but not the origincal crappy default WinMo ROM. Also, using the 2006 edition of iGO is seriously important for me because iGo8 totally sucked; and I was not successfull on loading iGO 2006 to newer ROMs. I left wondering why.



The dial pad's contact search function is not ideal. In my old-original ROM, it could search the letters seperately on multi named contacts. For ie, I'm looking for a contact named XDA DEVELOPER (and to be close to the real situation I have 100 more contacts starting with XDA).. İn the old one, writing X and D was enough, or XD and D, it will found the XDA Developler. But in this version, I have to write XDA first, than it can search through XDA ones. Seems ok now but really bad when the starting word is longer then XDA.. So, is there a fix-trick to help this out, or will I have to install a dialer program or contacts manager which can pop put when I press the green phone button.


Also iGO 2006 fails to start sometimes and I have to soft-reset the device to get it going. All HTC stuff is unchecked in Today items. Actually, everything is checked out since I'm using SPB home for desktop use.


And the last one.
Wireless is always on whenever I reset my phone.

Couldn't find solutions to these yet. Any help will be aprreciated a lot..

I think you mean the bars on the screen?
Check if there's a BlackBars.exe in your startup folder...

Thank you soooooo much for that reply. :-) This has been irritating me. I'm a technical guy and was poking all over the registry trying to find where that might be loading from, but I guess it was just too easy to think about looking in the startup folder when you're on the "dig deep/technical" mode of thinking. LOL. Thanks!
