Extended ROM Uses?

Hi, I've just got into this flashing lark. Now using the latest TNT ROM. Using WST 4.2.2 I can unlock and see the ext_rom is it worthwhile doing something with this space, formatting it? and then what?????

Although you can see it you can't use the WM OS to edit it because it will mess the FAT (File Allocation Table) and mess up all the files inside (like files with 4GB!)

What you can do is create an image of it with programs like Winimage (Extract one extrom with WST and edit it) with files you know you'll use but won't need to change and flash back to phone.

All in all it's 'only' 10MB of space
