I have tried all roms imaginable for my x50v, yet I continuously come back to WM2003SE...
So why do we bother updating to WM6, what are the benefits of WM6 over WM2003SE, i find WM2003SE can do everything WM6 can yet a hell of a lot quicker...
So my question is, why do you upgrade to WM6 ?
what benefits have you found ?

Many new programs now are WM5/WM6 only

WM5/6 is easier to sync with synce in Linux.
I've been using that WM6 A02 0PP rom for a couple of days and it's pretty snappy by the way, did you try it? If you did - did performance degrade over time or something?

Yes I tried it for about two weeks...problems found...
Initially all ran well...
wifi on, off, on then off to get it to work and sometimes said was connected when not.
Always use my Axim in meetings, with WM2003SE it never let me down when recording, making notes...first time used with WM6 0PP, it locked up under filesys (ok only a little but enough to interrupt and eventually needing a soft reboot) so basically let me down when I needed reliability.
Wisbar never worked, froze the machine
Battery seemed to last less than with WM2003SE.

Yes, as starkwong stated lots of new programs are WM5/6 only, and with the release of WM7 I think that manufacturers will stop supporting WM2003 at all. Besides WM6 is much more attractive when we talk about visual aspects, and it has built in power point for browsing slides.
If we talk about 0PP edition, in the Microsoft blog, there was written that 0 means that the device will deceide for you how much space is currently needed for pp, though as Maglite and guys from Microsoft mentioned it is not the best setting if you don't wont to use much MB's for pp. The best settings in that case would be, as Maglite suggested in one thread, 1MB PP version.

HC SD alone is worthy of the upgrade!
