I have made this thread because I spent some time searching for the keyboard mapping (kmap) of my HTC S730 phone (Wings). A guy named bigflavor pointed me in the right direction, so here we go.

The kmap is a file you use to set up the correct mapping between the slideout keyboard on the phone and the actual characters that comes out when you press the keys.

0106, 0406, 0706 - this is all for Danish, i.e. the "06" (http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/reference/winxp/xp-lcid.mspx).

For Danish keymapping:

The zip file contains 3 files
eT9.Wings.0406.kmap.txt
eT9.Dis.9Keys.Danish.Kbd.dll
eT9.Danish.Ldb.dll

1. Connect your Windows Mobile to your PC via the USB-cable.
2. Extract all files into the \\Windows folder on your HTC S730.
3. Open up your Mobile Registry Editor (http://www.breaksoft.com/Blog/Utilities/2005/1/Mobile_Registry_Editor.aspx) and add the following 5 key/value pairs to the Registry of your HTC S730.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tegic\eT9\AvailableLan guages
Add 0106

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tegic\eT9\IME\KdbDlls
Add 00010606 = eT9.Dis.9Keys.Danish.Kbd.dll

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tegic\eT9\IME\Keyboard LayouDlls
Add 00000706 = eT9.Wings.0406.kmap.txt

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tegic\eT9\IME\Language KeyboardIDMapping
Add 0106 = 0706

Add 0106 = eT9.Danish.Ldb.dll

You should make a wiki entry, and link it off the WM 6 standard page (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Windows_Mobile_6_Standard) and the Wings main page (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Wings). I've been maintaining the Wings main page for some time, trying to update it as more things pop up.

Oh, thanks, but it's the XT9 pack... I already have the polish one and it works, but the problem is the QWERTY keyboard layout - when I press fn+m, for example, the apostrophe should come out - the semicolon does instead.
I've included my hardware layout pic - seems it's norwegian or something like that o.o
I'd be satisfied with working polish or english layout, it's only important to me if the corresponding keys will work as they should :)
