You should REALLY begin to do some reading on your own, rather than simply asking questions in these forums. There is a whole area on this site known as the Wiki. It has a wealth of information about everything for your Hermes. You will find the answer to this particular question HERE (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_For_Beginners), for instance. If you spend some time reading the pages, which start HERE (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Hermes) for the Hermes, you will find that almost all of the answers to the questions you might have are already answered, and you will not have to wait for someone to have the time to give them to you.

I see you also posted another thread just for this question. That is also against THE RULES (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=221545), which you should read about HERE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=305).

When people come along to these forums and post basic questions that have already been answered, it makes it harder for everyone to find information they need, as they have to wade through what amounts to a bunch of garbage.

you can try resetting your phone through codes. its the safe way to reset your phone. because when you reset your phone through software or hardware there are possibilities for data getting corrupted or lost. but there is no such possibilities when you reset through codes. thats y i prefer this method to reset my phone. i got the codes from this site Unlocking4Free.com (http://www.unlocking4free.com/unlock-your-phone) to reset my phone. try it
