How to extract WM 6.1 BJ II ROM

I have a BJ II with WM 6.1 on it and trying to extract the Rom so I can put it on another Blackjack II.. Could someone please let me know how to do this? Can Sprite Backup do this?

If you want to extract the ROM from the pda-phone then the grab_it application would suffice that.

Will it work on a Blackjack II Smartphone? I have the WM6.1 Rom and I know everyone would like to get their hands on it! If someone can give me step by step I can definitely extract it.

mohby, da_g is probably your man...he has extensive knowledge in bj1 rom cooking and will probably be happy to help out.

if he doesn't frequent this forum, he should be reachable on txcaesar dot net or howardforums...

I have written a script for pdocread/itsutils in the first post here:

This script will automate the process of dumping the ROM, and zip it up, ready to be uploaded somewhere and shared. It only saves the ROM areas so no worries about divulging any private data. Anxiously awaiting a link :)

Da_G: If you could upload that script to this site, or another working one...please do so. txcaesar's has been down for a while! If ANYONE has the Blackjack 2 Windows Mobile 6.1 rom, PLEASE share it. And if anyone is willing to help compile instructions on how to flash a new rom to the Blackjack 2, please help us along with that too! this would be GREATLY appreciated!

is back up and running, and I talked to their TxCaesar himself. They ARE working on a WM 6.1 version for the Blackjack II...he says all they need is a bootloader...I dont think it'll be too long...i HOPE not!
