You can try posting it at dutty's thread where you got the rom from. youll have more chances of getting helped there than here, cause youll only get flamed for making a new thread.

yea problity but more people see the new threads then putting it under the one where i got duttys rom, I can't ever seem to get any help by doing it that way, plus whats the point of this site if you can't ask questions and use it is a learning tool. No disrespect to anyone lord knows ive spent my sleepless nights flashing different roms created by some talanted people.

How about using another app besides the one you have already tried. Hmmm!!! Just a thought. Just tried it with CorePlayer and TCPMP and it worked just fine!

i may try that, there was a gentleman in the thread under duttys rom who just confermed the same problem im having, it seems to only be a problem with what you record with the phone if you by any chance are using the same rom would you try to record a video and then play it back and see what happens i would like to make sure that a reflash is needed. i also notice your using the .10 radio mayby its an issue with the .06 radio

Watching videos with YouTubePlayer still not having any problems. Not having any video issues. Maybe its because of the fabulous radio I have.

Hey no offense bro but what i said, i said it politely and i never mention anything about not being able to ask. As a matter of fact, you can ask in the original rom thread, heck you can even ask the search box. As well as you can ask the way you did it, by making a new thread. Thats the beauty of it, this is a free world and YOU CAN ask anytime and anywhere. just be advised that the same way you can, other people CAN and WILL flame you and/or point you to the right direction with a little hostility if you dont ask the proper way. i simply pointed you to the right and most common direction, which i stated above.;)

the right and most common direction is precieved by the person pointing the finger in that direction not the person on the other side, in your opinion that was the RIGHT direction which the word right pretty much is insulting my intellengence by telling me i don't have any idea what im doing and that i should have done it the way you said

You Two Play Nice Or I will turn this car around.
Heres the thing., Forum Rules and etiquette state that If you are having a problem with a ROM, Radio, or piece of software. You ask in that thread. Its easier for us to answer in that thread.

you could always 'pimbackup' your mails/contacts I'm sure it comes with Dutty's ROM.
Did you Hard Reset your device after flashing? it might be worth re-flashing it nowadays people aren't hesitant re-flashing ROMs because most are UC compliant and backups are easy as pie.

I just finished checking the dutty's april 29 thread, assuming you havent changed your rom yet, we both have the same rom. i have no prob what so ever, so therefore it could be either the radio or check the rom thread. if you posted and no one is answering, its not that you arent being ignored, be patient as perhaps the other member's timezone is not as early or late as yours. here eastern time is 2:10 AM, i dont usually be here at this time but as you can see im here today. I have no actual need to insult your intellingence, as we can all see you're smart enough to flash/modify your cellphone. Just remember that you are the one asking, and not the other way around, therefore for some people being pointed to the right direction is a sign of hope, but for others it may not be the case. But whatever floats your boat, if it works and gets rid of the issue, then right on. if not i hope you get all the help you need...., goodbye and good morning from new york. :D

I can confirm having this issue. To make it clear, I do not have any problems watching video files I load onto my card or phone. I do not have issues watching youtube. They all load nicely on TCPMP. I'm using the latest rom from Dutty (Dutty's WM6.1 Hybrid v2 5.2.19716/5.2.19700) with the 1.64.08.21 radio.
I think the ONLY problem I'm having (and I'm assuming the same goes for the OP) is that when I try to record video with the camera, the video file comes out with garbled video and proper audio. Dragging these files onto my desktop, I still can't view the files with VLC media player or any other media player I've tried. (well, it just shows a solid grey box, but plays the audio properly). Pictures taken with the camera, however, are just fine.
So I'm assuming the problem isn't the player, but is related to the camera and whatever may affect the camera's recording capability. Possibly the radio (??) anything else?
I'm too tired to mess around with the radios atm, but if anyone else with the issue has any luck resolving it, please let me know. thanks.

I am using Dutty's Apr 09 build and do not have this problem. The first thing I would try is changing your radio version, since the camera will not work properly if there are issues with your radio. I would suggest the radio version I am running (see signature) because it has the best battery life I've seen yet, and the camera is very snappy/responsive.

there are different processors in the new tilts they are 7201 instead of the 7200 that seems to be the problem so far most everybody with this problem has had that processor

The isn't really anything different in the chips that would affect video playback. The new chips just incorporate a workaround for the HSDPA & WCDMA.

Check out this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=387057) thread. Me and a few others are/were having the same issue with garbled pixel/ solid green video playback. We have tried numerous radio changes with no luck. I reverted back to an old AT&T 6.0 ROM and the problem went away. Check the thread above for which version. We have also listed other ROM's that seem to have no video camera playback issues.
jstuart, it looks as though you started a similar thread here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=389401). You may want to be careful starting redundant threads, and utilizing the search feature. Others may be hostile toward you for not doing so.

It may not be the hardware difference but I have a 7201 and have the same problem and some other people with the new 7201 also have this problem. Coincidence? I don't think so.
Some say that Nothrills Rom works with the camera.
