Need Help On My Dead Pda

hello,all the masters of this site and pda phones....i have a spv m3000 from orange G4 locked and tried to flash t-mobile radio prodigy with softSPL...it went on first screen with the beer image and got stuck on it...after i removed my battery it wouldn't start,enter bootloader,soft,hard reset it wont even charge(red led not blinking) my computer doesn't recognize it.i tried giving the batey a 9v,6v shock and nothing happened phone is still dead...i'm not a good electronist so i can't use the method to rewrite the inernal memory soldering wires...etc....could you give me a solution???i'm desperate:((

Well, there's no such rom 't-mobile radio prodigy',you are mixing things here.Its either Radio Rom or OS(Rom). Assuming by your post 'the beer image' as you say,it must be the "Button's Rom 1.05" with IPL/SPL 1.05 (G3 Bootloaders). Did you flash the Button's Rom 1.05 on your G4 device,well,if so then,its a "BRICK",coz flashing a G3 Rom with IPL/SPL in it'll certainly brick a G4 phone,Now nothing can be done with it.

well i've heard something of leaving it 24 hours without the battery and shoking the battery but no luck so far...isn't there any program that would recognize this brick as a flash memory so i could just put the bootloader back?and yes i have put a g3 rom on my g4....and it makes me feel like an idiot...can't i just jump start the thing into the bootloader?(T-Mobile_UK_2.19.11_Radio_Only - this is what i flashed)

Are you sure it was T-Mobile_UK_2.19.11_Radio only which you flashed and not the Button's Rom 1.05 ? coz flashing any Radio rom will not Brick any phone,regardless it being a G3 or G4,coz it doesn't include any IPL/SPL (Bootloaders) in it,its safe to flash to any G3 or G4 phone.
But what about you said it boots up to splash screen with a 'Beer Mug' on it,coz only Button's Rom splash screen displays a Beer Mug on it.

i'm certain this is what i flashed...and it was a beer mug(at least half of it) now it doesn't do anything...after i removed the battery it died

Strange !!!
A Radio Rom never flashes any splash screen and it never displays any splash screen,especially a Beer Mug splash screen,you must have been mistaken and downloaded and flashed the Button's Rom 1,05,which has G3 IPL/SPL in it,and now its Bricked,nothing can be done with it to revive,except replacement of the 'DOC Chip' (M-System Flash Chip),which I'm afraid is not possible by anybody other then the manufacturer/vendor of the device. :mad:

just found out that in the directory named T-Mobile_UK_2.19.11_Radio_Only was CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE....di d i brick it?...and how much would it cost to change that chip?...any place i could order another motherboard? maybe it's another way to do it...maybe someone does know how to use JTAG...give me some advice please...

YUP !!! there it is,I was correct, its Button's Rom 1.05.
Well,yes ! its "BRICKED"
Only,manufacturer/vendor can provide you the motherboard or tell you the exact cost of it,or you can try the Ebay if they have it or can provide it.

Secondly,its still not known or if anyone can revive it through 'JTAG' ,guys here have been working on it,but were not successful and stopped trying it,you can have further info on it by checking out this link or 'Search' through google.

one more question and that's all...will the orange service or repair center notice that i've been "playing" with the device?maybe with a little luck they will replace it..or replace the motherboard :-S...thank you o much for helping

well....to all the readers of this post...i didn't manage to revive it through any method and decided to send it to the provider repair center...i have sent a message to caesar54 who managed to revive his wizard using jtag and waiting for a reply....IMPORTANT : DO NOT FLASH YOUR G4 DEVICE WITH A G3 ROM IT WILL BRICK YOUR PDA (I JUST FOUD OUT THE HARD WAY) SO REMEMBER..IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING....DONT DO IT...i will post updates on what i have done with mine if someone intersted...

thank you very much zabardast....i went to the orange shop where i was instructed by someone "high ranked" and someone over there told me that they have a tool that writes software even when the phone is dead...probably through a service cable or something...they said it would be back in 2 weeks maximum...and i will be informed of the price of the repair wich i will post (including my decision) anyway agan "DO NOT FLASH IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING"...hope it will get it back after 1 week functionally and cheap...i will search other forums and find posible solutions that i will post...till' then...good luck and work safe

until my phone comes back repaired or not i'm searching for an alternative...does anyone have a wizarrd to sell?preferably a broken one...broken display or something...but with the mainboard intact?

now we are working on finding the jtag test points on the main board to reflash the

well when the board comes back be sure i'll help...but there would be another soluution...we could find a site or store that sell DOC chips...the rest is simple...we just need that chip...i'll search other forums for wizard jatg points...i really like your initiative...

a fiend of mine wich works at a repair center said he could discover JTAG points but omly with a board that is functional...anyone out there willing to sacrifice or sell?i'll post news on JTAG
