I have both the black silicone and the clear crystal case. Most of the time I use the silicone. When I ride I use the crystal case to mount on the bike. GPS and talking on bluetooth :)

Personally I don't like metal cases. Had one with my Wizard and it just made the phone too big. After all, we pay loads of cash for a slim phone and then put it in a big case?!!
(not that the Wizard could ever be called a slim phone!)

Other people have posted these links before, but these are best cases around:
beyzacases (http://www.beyzacases.com/cat-htc-touch-cruise--slimline-leather-cases.cfm) - no belt clip, so just a replacement for the standard offering
Nutshell (https://tuff-as-nuts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=580) - fixed belt clip

I use the Nutshell and it really is well made and fits perfectly - well recommended.

Nice cases...
but isn't it annoying that you need to pull out the device everytime?

Eh? You have to pull your device out of something everytime to use it, no? Flip cases, you have to open a flip. Belt clip cases you have to unclip, etc.

I had a nutshell case along time ago for my Jornada and Casio. Nice cases but they are very thick leather and not so slim-line. They are also very tight fitting around the device.

Also, cases like the PDAir hardcase take away IMHO one of the best features of the TC, the flush (no bezel) screen.

Well you can get a sillicone case and you don't need to pull it\flip it :)

Hi, I'm searching for a case. And I'm interested in a beyzacase. But can u tell me if it has a protection foil like this one http://shop.brando.com.hk/prod_img/zoom/SLTCA023700_04_L.jpg ? I don't like them because they make it difficult to use the touchscreen.

Does nobody have experiences with the Fliptype FlipSR?

Yes, I have used Beyzacase flip one. The shape and finish are good, but most flip in type case will make difficulty in launching built-in HTC cube since you have to put the finger below the viewable screen to rub upward in order to launch the cube. The case will not allow you to put your finger below the viewable screen. You have to push out the Touch Cruise a bit upward from the case so that you can have your finger rub upward from that place. I am now using the Beyza universal case so that I can take out the whole TC to use it. Otherwise you have to choose some flip in case with the the whole front screen can be scrolled in order to effectively use the cube.

Doesn't scratch, but, it doesn't protect the screen from cracking if you drop it, nor does it stay on forever -- does start to peel after a while.

While it does come with a warranty, application doesn't count. ie, your on your own if the air bubbles don't work their way out, or it doesn't stick properly during installation.

;) i've never had any of those problems and if you follow the instructions and take care then bubbles aren't an issue. Obviously if you need a more rugged case for severe protection to screen then a case is kool. Personally i dont like cases, but hey everybodys use is different!:D (just dont use the protector and a case otherwise the leading edge will peel due to friction against the case.)

Krussel case? Anyone... I am trying to find a cabriolet type case that Krussel makes for other brands but they don't seem to make it for the Polaris, weird since it would be very useful. Anyone know any other brand making similar type?

Found one here: http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=10100000_900000_11000220&products_id=7224 have ordered it, should reach me in another 10 days... will let you know.

that's what I mean
to big, to heavy
I don't want to go on war with my phone - just for long sport activities without thinking about weather etc
ottebox makes nice case for iphone, but not for htc :(
