Proper Norwegian shipped rom wanted!

I would be extremely happy if anyone could supply a proper Norwegian Rom. I need it because I have to have my phone replaced, but I'm afraid HTC will say that the warranty is broken if I send it back with a custom or foreign rom.

Here's a copy of the original 1.28.409.1 Norwegian ROM for the Touch Cruise (WM 6.0). Remember to remove hard spl too after you've flashed the original ROM back.

1. Flash original ROM
First flash the offical rom (using hard spl and your normal flash metod, I usually put the ROM on the SD card).

2. Restore original SPL
Download the originalspl.zip
Unpack it to a folder.
Start the RomUpdate Utility from the folder.
You will see the tricolor screen on you pda, and device will ask you to Replug USB cable. DO IT!
After a few seconds original spl is restored. (this will restore only spl, not flash the full rom)
You can check it to enter manually to bootloader.
You have to see this in tricolor:
POLA100
SPL-1.25.0000
CPLD-2

Because that one didn't work with my device. I'm missing some files in communications setup and I can't get the gprs/edge/g3 etc. to work. I don't know if that is a problem, but I'm afraid that the guys at HTC will notice that the rom is different and that I will lose my warranty. BTW, Bitdefender found a virus in "Polaris_CustomRUU.exe", (Trojan.Qhosts.AQP).

Yes, it's the same one. I did try and flash it to my device once, just to verify that it was genuine, and I did not get any gprs/edge errors. Not that I tried it for any length of time.

Are you sure that you did not have a hick-up in the flashing? Also after the flash is complete, do a hard reset. I've found that this helps to iron out small issues on other ROMS.

Regarding the virus, a lot of the ROM floating around has this virus in it. I'm not sure if it's a virus or not, but personally I always copy the ROM to the SD card and flash using Hard SPL and not CustomRUU.exe. That way I'm safe and theres less things that can go wrong.

I tried several times both flashing from memory-card and the normal way, but it's the same. Also after hard resetting. All the other roms Irun htc setup and installs htc apps the first time you run the system, but this rom doesn't. I appreciate your help, but I can't get the rom to work. Starting to get stressed out. I have to mail in the phone to service on monday..

Norwegan: Jeg har også prøvet den, for å se om det var den orginale. Det var det, alt virket fint så hvis du ikke får den til å virke, kan du prøve å kjøre den fra en pc med xp. Det har skjedd meg, at Vista har hatt problemer med enkelte rom. Virusvarselet kan du bare overse. Lykke til.

Har lagt den inn via minnekortet nå, men det mangler fortsatt htc programvare. HTC Home f.eks. Og hsdpa innstillingspanelet, men jeg prøver å gjøre det så likt orginalen som mulig. Skal rapportere tilbake om hvordan det går med ubyttingen/reperasjonen.

Det mangler faktisk. Aner ikke hvorfor.
