So I had an issue with my Tilt and contacted ATT and they have agreed to replace it and I just have to send mine in.

The only problem is that I have Duttys ROM on the phone right now. It still have the ATT Splash screen but everything else is not the ATT ROM. The problem with the phone is that the phone doesn't charge or connect via USB so I don't think I can flash it back via USB/Computer. Any way I can do it with my microSD card?

Do you think it will be a problem with ATT since the phone has a hardware problem and not a software problem? Or will they reject it since its not OEM software?

so why exactly are you sending it back to them?

To answer your first question you need to start doing some searching cause there is plenty on the subject.

To answer your second question yes they will reject your phone because of the current rom unless you change it.

But what is wrong with your phone? they will replace your device with a refurb

look here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=336158) about flashing the rom from your SD Card. I'm uploading an nbh file for you to use. I'll pm you the link when it finishes uploading.

Thanks for the replies.

I did do some searching and people always referenced flashing back to ATT ROM before sending it back. All the flashing tutorials I saw always mentioned hooking up to the computer via USB to do the flash and stuff.

What happened with my phone was weird. At first it was just the touchscreen not working, and then the soft keys. I had to do a hard reset and it solved the problem but for some reason during the process, the mini USB connection at the bottom (the same one that charges the phone) stopped working.

I would use the wall plug as well as the USB cord to try and charge the phone or at least transfer data and nothing would work. So I contacted ATT and went through their steps and they agreed that the phone was still under warranty and they would replace it. They sent me a refurb two days ago and I have to mail my old one out sometime this weekend. I was able to charge the battery in the refurb phone and use the battery in my old phone just to see if everything else still works (and it does, touchscreen and all) but it still doesn't charge or sync with my computer any more.

Maybe I read that wrong but I think SBZRO answered that question pretty loud and clearly in his original post :)

not necessarily because some people have issues with charging their phones and using active sync after flashing roms. I wanted to find out more information to determine if it was something we could help him with so he wouldn't get a refurb, not that its necessarily a bad thing but i'd prefer to know where my device has been.

The only problem you are going to have is flashing back to the original bootloader.

You can flash the rom back via your MicroSD card, but I don't think you can do the bootloader.

Now, I could be wrong... But I don't think so.
