Looking for 1.28.457.2 WWE

Hi All,

I just got my HTC cruise a month ago with Original shipped WM6.0:

ROM version: 1.28.457.2 WWE
ROM date: 03/10/08
Radio version: 1.58.25.14,
Protocol version: 25.69.30.05H

*funny thing is when booted, the red text in the bootscreen sayz "D: 1.28.00.00"...

I really like it because its really fast (yes i mean really fast - felt like 6.1) and stable compare to other orig shipped WM6.0 that i've used before (Touch Dual and TyTn II).

Before start to play with 6.1 ROMs, i wanted to have this rom file for my backup, so i can get back to my original shipped rom in case something screwed up.

I tried to googled everywhere including in HTC site, *BUMP!* can't find it..

I know i can tried to dump this using guides from this forum, unfortunately only dumping it as .raw, no steps to flash it back to the device.

Appreciated if anyone know where I can get it ROM from or point me to the thread where i can flash the dump back or even reconstruct it as .nbh after i dumped it?

Its been quite sometime and seems no one has it...

interesting to see that HTC put unpublished roms into their devices...and it happens to be a good one...wondering why tho'... some secret combinations of tweaks? who knows...

Hot fix for resolving Blutooth headset sound roblem that occurs when reconnecting with HTC Touch Cruise (dated: 2008/06/26)

If you are using the Bluetooth headset, “Jabra JX10”, “Jabra BT500” or “Samsung WEP 150”, and the headset becomes out of range or undetected by the HTC Touch Cruise, in certain circumstances, you may be unable to hear any sound from the headset even after it has reconnected successfully with HTC Touch Cruise. Please install this hot fix to improve the connection when using the above-mentioned Bluetooth headsets.

You can find the cab file in the rom, in windows folder.

It's name is cvc-ppc-wwe-709191-dopodppc.cab

It is 1.9 Mb
