Hey guys,

I been a member of this community for some time now since i got my Tilt. I Hard SPLed it and flashed it to one of duty's origional roms which worked great but i am moving on to the new one. Very bad question but i just want to confirm myself - you dont need to do a reinstall hardspl process second time correct?

So just hard reset - flash- "hard reset again and power on and off after customization " (as per Duty).

Correct?

Sorry for the question just really afraid of bricking the phone..

I, too, am in Webdk's newbie shoes, except he's more advanced than me! :D

I just unlocked my SIM card by ATT providing me with an unlock code -- I inserted a T-Mobile SIM card, entered the code (it passed), and now I can presumably use any SIM card.

My intent is to experiment with the various cooked ROMs available. What is my next step? CID unlock? HardSPL? Soft, then HardSPL? Both? I need a little hand-holding as I'm getting a little overwhelmed. Thanks.

Honestly. I would recommend that your Next Step be. Read the Sticky Threads. And The Wiki in my Signature. Then the HardSPL Thread. If you don't have an understanding of what you are doing, You could Turn your phone into a Spendy Paperweight.

Thanks Cjmedina and JimmyMcGee for your advice. I guess I knew that already, but my eyes are already blurry from all the reading I've done since February. Will follow your lead. Baby steps...
