Daxian T32 Phones

Okay so i ordered and received a Daxian T32 phone. This phone is great in all, no problems except for the wifi not working. It has it built in phone it has been disabled and only a wifi firmware update will enable it and whenever that will be out and i dont want to wait. Is there anyway to enable it? Tronicvasion were i got it from said that there might be a hack for it i guess. I was wondering do anyone have any info on this. Thanks.

I have heard that there is a hack for it, but haven't been able to find it anywhere. It's probably all over the Chinese forums...in Chinese....

i got an daxian x999 (which is the same as your t32) and i´m desperatly trying to dump the rom, because i want to modify or even replace it!;)

I do have the 8 Gig mini sd card update for it, but nothing for the wifi yet. I dont even know how to get into the rom to enable it. As for the GPS chip it is over in europe from what i heard.

It is just a cab file for the 8 gig memory card to work and i sure the wifi update will be the same way. I am having so much trouble with this phone rebooting at times and even hard resetting at times, im so glad i kept my wing, gave that to my wife but now im taking it back.

To enable SDHC, you can just look for it on the forum, it is on here several times...

Am not sure, but don't think that there will be an "update" for wifi...
The daxian x999/t32 doesn't have it, the daxian x999+/t32+ (which I have) does however...
So don't think you should get your hopes on for a "wifi update", if you would have a wifi antenna built-in, don't you think they would try to make it work from the beginning?

The + version has also been released a couple of months ago and if there would be such an update, I think they would've released it then.

Its a little dificult to do this:

1) get the pocket hack master (trial version)

2) Shut off BLUETOOTH on 13%

3) Download http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/get-wmwifirouter-v0-89.html
WIFI router

4) on T32 (only T32) go to Settings - Connections - GPRS Stup, name it WIFI (on gprs internet)

5) save and restart t32. Run the wifi router and it will find your connection

That doesn't really make any sense. I've never been able to get Pocket Hackmaster to work with my T32. And how would one "shut off BLUETOOTH on 13%"??? And what would Hackmaster and the WiFi router have to do with each other?

Hello my friends

I really need your help. My phone starts to fail during booting and also if boot has problem reading some applications.
I made a hard reset as were explained before, blue screen...
So far so good, but still the some problem, I looks like some files are missing, shortcut invalid and my documents some times stay some no. :confused:
I am newbie with this but I think there is a problem with the rom.

Tomorrow, I'll send to china. Now the phone doesn't boot. Only shows windows mobile screen (blue). Nothing more :(

I didn't test so much the rotate screen with s2u2, because the same day when I installed this soft the phone started to fail.

Overall, I like this phone very much, stylish, long battery life, easy to use touch function due to flush mirror screen. It would be great if it has transflective screen because it is hard to read outdoor.

Wifi, EDGE work great. Still have problem with activesync over bluetooth (cannot see activesync service); but pairing with bluetooth car kit easily.

For s2u2, I notice that it drained the battery the first time I installed, but usually it is ok.

Excellent phone, overall (still lousy camera).

Well, I had a similar problem myself as all my programs stop working with a certificate error or sort, sounded like a registry problem or sort, I did the hard reset and thanks god everything is back to normal but I previously used software like SPB shell and SKtools, I actually have my original MicroSD 1GB which came with a bunch of programs and 2 CAB files named WINDOWS 6 HOME SYSTEM and X999+ MENU. Maybe it could be of help...don't know

I am also afraid to install new software when my phone comes back.
Maybe SPB shell 2.x could be the problem. But then the whole rom is a problem cause it comes preinstalled (unregistered) with the T32+

Or maybe the s2 products are the problem.

I started a new discussion maybe we could all come there (like I try to do in the discussion's name). We users could use 1 place to tackle all problems.

I have DBH Slide2Unlock and SPB Pocket Plus running with no problem on my x999.

I ran SPB Mobile Shell with no problem for awhile, but it tended to run slowly so I uninstalled it. Opera Mobile 9.5 ran too slow, too, but Opera Mini runs well.

I had to hard reset once after installing and uninstalling a bunch of other shells (ifonz, throttlelauncher, Pointui). I don't know which one locked things up, but I just think there isn't enough RAM on the phone to run these. Even the DBH S2U sometimes locks things up and I have to soft reset.

I would love the launch shell that the phone came with if it were customizable. I really thought ifonz would work, but it asks to push a button when you finish customizing an icon. My phone has no buttons to push.

That x999+ cab would be interesting to try out. Any chance you'd be willing to upload it?

Now I am really scared to install new apps.
Dont want to fry the rom again.
If only the standard Iphone menu was configurable.

I love the s2 products , but not sure I will install these again.
Maybe I just keep it stock for a few weeks.

I've using T32 for 2 months now. Very good phone!

Use any generic registry editor to change the volume in HKCU\Control Panel\SoundCategories\ section. For example, I increase the in call volume by changing the below registry entry:

Regisrty: HKCU\Control Panel\SoundCategories\InCall
Key: InitVol
Default: 5
New Value: 10

There are a few volume entries for you to amend.

Thanks for posting that. It has two files - one is called x999+ menu.cab and it's just SPB mobile shell. The other is WINDOWS 6 HOME SYSTEM.cab and it's PointUI. Go figure. :-)

I'm guessing that the SPB mobile shell is bootleg. You should probably take the .rar file down.

Actually the version of SPB shell is a trial version , so I cant see the reason why he should take it down.

You still have to buy a registrationcode for it.

I bought this phone in Dec 2007 as a prototype from the company in CHina making them. After 3 weeks of no problems my phone has starting resetting itself. either soft reset or hard reset and i loose everything. is there a quick fix that i can do or reinstall windows mobile somehow? or even sell it to someone who wants a phone with inbuilt gps to play around with? But I just wish there was a way to view Youtube on edge.
there's not many places with free wifi around here. Well other than My house and the mall..yeah youtube on edge would be a dream come true.

my first Daxian X999+ was broken. so i send it back to the factory seller..
it was almost the same experience with you guys.. but 1 thing that was not included in your post was that my phone was place on a pouch with a magnet... a leather case.... i think thats the real problem that corrupt your phone and mine.. also 1 think 1 remember before my phone starts malfunctioning is that i set the auto rotate on with the S2U2 was install. it sucks... after a hard reset all is gone.. garble msgs.
Now i have the new Phone With the Thumb Mark Logo on it.. so far so good no problems.

3ATTR1X: I have do the hard reset many times but my problem is not fixed. My phone boot normally but butons don't work and after 3 to 4 minutes the screen goes blank instead of black (sleep). If I plug the power cable the screen goes normal again to go blank after some minutes. That's it. It's a brick.

Hi, yeah had a look at their website, there are 100's out there like this, they are not setup to handle warranty issues. Well i noticed all of them in forums but that didn't make me to stay away from that phone :(

My story
I Ordered one T32+ ex.GPS from factorymobilephones.com
in 1 /10/2008 and i got it in 14/10 so
in 20/10/2008 it started freezing on Windows blue screen(after a soft reset that i made because it wasn't responding),

So, I made a hard reset...
Then i installed all the softs again(all that i had before) including 8gb support...
When i finished I wanted to Power of it.I did it and when I power on again it get froze again....

Since that day it makes by its own hard resets(even when i press the reset button), some shortcuts not working(ex. Contacts, Notes, Phone) sometimes it is working...

I often make Hard Reset (maybe in some attempt it will work)but no luck...
I contacted with factorymobilesphones and the sent me some FAQs:

they just say in few words.. if you make hard Reset everything is ok...
if somebody wants GET .doc file ....

So I think i will make a video and youtubeit so the future t32 buyers will know what might happen to their new IPHONE CLONYY..

Hi, what people do not realize is there are other companies producing this phone, as mentioned before, the company I buy from are in China and factory make the phone in China.
Daxian & factory is in Taiwan, two different companies, different electrical boards onside and are probably differently made since this T32 has a working GPS chip and all the other functions work fine.
So I have had only one T32 returned since June with the defected ROM issue, which was most probably caused by running the phone out of RAM to many times.
I see there is a Daxian version out now with a working GPS but to do it there are bluetooth issues, and for some strange reason there is no working front camera, even though it shows there is one.
So my conclusion is:
Daxian is not contactable for support, and companies that sell the Daxian model X999 cannot provide it either, and the GPS version is probably a modded version, not a new Daxian release.
The T32 I buy and sell go onto the market after I have done quality control on all the functions, so if there is an issue that cannot be fixed with a hard reset, it gets sent back to be fixed, then returned and put up for sale.
The difference is when it comes to support,
The online company i deal with exist because of the factory, so whenever there is a issue of warranty, the company talks to the factory engineers, which they provide the support, and if I cannot fix it my end in New Zealand, it gets sent back.
So far I have had no emails back from buyers of the T32GPS version, only thank you emails.
So lets make sure if you are going to provide warnings about this style of phone it is aimed at Daxian and the sellers, not the non-branded T32 GPS WIFI model.
So yes these phones do have corrupted ROM issues, it is because one can have as many background programs running like SPB shell, SPB +, WisBar_Advance/ desktop + program, etc and then as many programs like music player, word document, internet explorer, outlook etc, so it is easy with this phone to overload it, and it is the same for any windows mobile. I have had mine since May and it works as it should. please check support forum T32GPS to read more about how not to fry the ROM.
BTW, this was the first T32GPS version that came out since April 2008 it is not a Daxian.

Hi I am in discussion with the engineers how to shift the internal ROM memory from 80 + 48, to 64 + 64, I will post here.
If this is possible, this will fix the issue with overloading the RAM, as this will add 16Mb to the available 21.4Mb, so total will be around 37.4Mb available.
They suggested this, so now I will await how it can be done.

The overload has nothing to do with how many programs that can be installed to the phone, it is how many are open and are using RAM.
The Advertising of this phone was false and have led a lot of people wrong.
Some advertised 512mb RAM, and 1GB internal memory, I wish it did have that.

So I agree with you, but because this T32 I have and sell has a solid working GPS that runs every time, fast fixes and excepts every GPS PPC program including NAVMAN, a solid working WIFI, fast reconnect to auto saved hotspots, excepts 99.9% of all programs certified and un-certified, it still a great all in one phone.
I was showing a group of us who are the TV crew for sports games in NZ, youtube on my T32 using Skyfire browser, others who had iphones just stopped and stared, smiled when I told them even at the airports hotspot, video streams and plays fine.
And the fact that tomtom7 on the T32 got us to a bakery, and back to stadium. is why I love it!

i think i was lucky at the end. as i tried several times to do a hard reset and got stuck with the blue screen - the hardreset was successful at the end.
lucky me i did a full back-up with spb-backup at the beginning and i was able to re-establish this configuration.
now everything is running fluently - but who else knows how long according to the cassandras dealing with daxian troubles.
i would be really glad to receive a bug-fix for the RAM-overflow problem.

The results of safe mode is call function is disable, Storage card is unreadable.

The only program I know that does this is Pocket mechanics, for fragmentation purposes, when it is finished it restarts back into normal mode.

I gave my phone to my wife. She only uses for telephone calls, sms, and messenger. So far so good. Don't expect anything more of that phone. :D

Hi there. I don't really know where else to post about my problem, so if this is in the wrong place, then I'm sorry.

I've had my Daxian x999 (advertised as t32) for about a week now.
So far so good but there's one thing that's really annoying me.
Receiving phone calls. The calls come in fine, no problems with the signal or anything. It's just when I press answer on the touch screen... it stays like that. The call will connect but I can't hear them and they can't hear me. When I look at the screen, it's still shows "answer/ignore" No matter how many times I press answer, it will not go off that screen. Then when the person hangs up, it shows up as having like 7 missed calls.
I have no idea why it does this. I don't really want to do a hard reset because I'll lose everything which I've installed. :confused:
Anyone know what the problem is, or how I can fix this?

Use any generic registry editor to change the volume in HKCU\Control Panel\SoundCategories\ section. For example, I increase the in call volume by changing the below registry entry:

Regisrty: HKCU\Control Panel\SoundCategories\InCall
Key: InitVol
Default: 5
New Value: 10

There are a few volume entries for you to amend.

hold 3 buttons until there is a blue flash then let go

If this does not fix your problem, and it still does not startup, then can you explain if you have done any registry changes or have flashed the ROM, or overclocked it, did you have programs installed into Phone internal memory, and how much program memory was available most of the time?
If you kept getting messages like running out of memory, memory dangerously low! and then it would not start up afterward?
Does anything like this ring a bell?

hope it worked out for you, yes I suggest buyers to copy everything from micro SD card to PC, all installers and SDHC patch plus TXT how to reload is included in card, but yeah I have to many 1GB cards now, so I will include 1GB card with phone with SDHC patch and instructions + resco explorer installer on the card, will make it easier to re-install after a hard reset, since phone will no longer recognize 4 or 8GB card.

I have only install IFONZ for a look, but i believe every icon is linked to a program, so each icon can be customized by changing what it links to, so there should be a IFONZ customization which allows changing ICON pictures, and linking to which program it will open.

Hi on the headphones, there should be a answer button, and on the back of the headphones speakers silver heart.
I had a pair of headphones that did not have an answer button, and it did not work.
So i contacted where i buy from, and they sent me the correct headphones.

The weird thing is that the phone doesn't "see" my wireless SMCWBR14-N2 router wich is working good with my toshiba notebook and my dreambox 800 HD.

I don't understand why the phone detects my neighbor's speedtouch router and don't detect mine here a 1 mt.

Any idea what coud be the reason?

SSID broadcast needs to be enabled on the Router not T32
So you sign into the router on the PC by opening a web browser and typing in routers IP address, go through login process, then check WIFI, look for
SSID broadcast that it is enabled or ticked, save settings, and wait for a minute.

The my phone have a hm.. problem .. when go to standby mode the gsm module is not received the phone calls, if not use phone up 10- -20min( is sleep i think). Need dial in some time my number or any number that is not "sleep"Or i use the outlook check my email in 5min. but this is cost data plan? I look on registry under HKLM\drivers\builtin\proximity that there are some key about it and one of this key include a dll (proximity.dll).
So i search this dll under windows folder but i not find it...
Some one can tell me how to configure it for use the approach sensor??
And please let me know what you see in your registry key under \proximity...

I'm posting this in pretty much every Daxian X999/T32 thread I can find here, in the hopes that someone will see it.

I'm having the same issue with my phone and the blue screen after hard reset. I was able to successfully hard reset it once, then tried to run SPB backup several times, which only half-worked, and forced me to do several soft-resets to see if I could get a complete restoration with SPB. Now the phone won't boot up, despite probably 50 attempts at hard resetting. I get the solid blue screen, then the Windows Mobile blue screen, and it never loads past that.

I've been holding the top volume button, then pressing and holding the camera button, then pressing and holding the power button, waiting for the blue screen and the Windows Mobile blue screen to come up, and then simultaneously letting go of all 3 at the same time, to no avail.

Is there some other combination of buttons I should be pushing, or should I be holding them longer? Not as long? I feel like I'm missing something here.


I purchased the phone used from a seller on ebay (bad idea, I gather), so if it's fried, is there anywhere I can send it to be repaired? All of you sending your phones off to China to be fixed/replaced, do you have contact information for the companies you're sending them to? Or are you just sending them back to the stores you purchased them from?

Is there any info out there about places in the US that can repair these phones? Or even what the repair process entails?

I really need the cover plates for my t32 becuase mine are broken after a crash... If somebody has a broken t32 with covers in good condition we can make a deal.
By the way I am using my t32 for one year already and it works super. Have tested all the different wm6 softs that exist and never crashed and froze with any of them. I think this is the best of all china mobiles. Have tried other china mobiles but they are really crap!!! anfa_shkoder@yahoo.com

Is there someplace you can recommend to buy a new chip? I don't know anything about it, what it's called, or where/how to go about getting a new one.

I've already replaced the X999 with a Samsung Omnia, but if I could get the X999 up and working again, I would kill to have it back because it really did work exceptionally well.

I have the same problem with my T32 too. Trust me the phone is great.... I was trying to install a program on it, i changed my mind on the program because it was taking too long to install, so i had to press the reset button. The phone restarts and just came up in landscape mode. after that, i did hard reset on it by pressing combination of volume, camera,and power button. It resets and happen to work well but wont install any program. I was frustrated and did hard reset more than 75 time. sometimes it hangs on the blue windows mobile start up page, and other time it wont show any option if i hit the state button. I love this phone so much and i do not want to loose it. Can anyone help me out with any information on how to get it fix ? I'm thinking about getting the omnia as a substitute but i i believe i'll like my T32 better. I wonna wait and see if i can have it fix. PLEASE HELP LIKE 911

your phone now alway frozen at blue screen show ''window mobile'' right ?
if you want to fix it,you need enter bootloader mode, then upload a new rom,
because old rom got fully memory, hard reset can't help you.
but many people though T32 never can enter bootloader mode,mean every time T32 crashed, we can only ''kick it out'',
but phone M88 can enter bootloader mode then got fixed.
many people has changed to use M88, it can fix that problem by use memory card to upload new rom.

Hi, everyone I'm having Daxian X999 T32
reading this forum notice, that many people asking about rom and how to fix problem with frozen blue screen, so seems i found something
There are different instructions to it and I didn't try it myself, because my phone works just fine and i love it, but maybe someone will find that usefull:
1) download rom from here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/168534489/DX.SKU16783.UPDATE.ENGLISH.AUG01.rar
2) format your micro SD card to FAT32, don't use large that 2 GB SD card
3) make a copy of update.img file and rename it as uploader
4) copy 'update.img' and 'uploader' files to SD card
5) turn on phone by hold home key and power key same time

if you will get white or red screen, that means you entered bootloader mode and you need to wait 3-5 min until it will finish installing software, then it will selfrestart

the second instruction is from M88 instalation, but it's worth to try it:

format your micro SD card to FAT32, dont give anything in this,
after download rom, put ''update.img'' to root folder of SD card,
dont create any folder, just use root folder.
copy''update.img'' and create 3 new files with name:
''uploader.img'', 'uploader'' , ''update''
rememer some files need type .img inside, and some file no need type that.
that mean you just need total 4 files in card.
then put card to phone, keep it turn off.
now turn on phone by hold home key and power key same time,
you will see white screen or red screen show '' image downloading please...''
wait about 5-10 mins, will be completed.
WARNING:
- if you haven't create all 4 files, you'll get blue screen with only
hard reset.
- SD card 4gb and 8gb can't use to do this job.
- Low memory card will give bootloader time faster, example : 512 MB


If someone will have success with it, please let people know.

How is step by step hard reset i try it one successful see ..blue screen flash and phone start fine..but after this freeze again. Now start but take error "shortcut opening.

Yes need again hard reset....or try soft reset first.Hope you work fine after this.
But i try 10-15hard reset after this phone start fine ..install 2-3programs or try return backup and phone freeze.. why i don't (work fine and storage memory is 20mb free) But now freeze and after soft reset is go to calibrate pen menu :mad:

Yes i see talk for T32+ ...but this changed fast with blue screen windows mobile and i think is not update and restart ...and now is dead :mad:
I have two 2800mAh battery if need for some or some parts write me.

the reason is that they sold less than m88 on ebay.
i think it can't upload rom.i recommend that you should only use
m88, it can easy upgrade rom, just a few minutes.

You can try to access your pda through PdaReach on your PC and then
do hard reset from the pc and sure have all new daxian files on the SD, it can initiate the boot loader procedure...

Does this ROM work for T32 GW (gps, wifi) also? Or isn't this a ROM, just some application to get the ROM working again after bricking it?
I had to send mine back to China for repair, so it works now, but I would like to know if I could start using it again and in case of another RAM-rundown could repair it myself :D

I've been using the T32 for a long time now.
I always tried to read out the flash image and reflash the device but I did not manage to do it. Even the manufacturer was not ready to give the rom-file to me :)

Can you please tell us how you managed to read out the flash in order to make it possible to reflash the device?

Rom for Daxian T32
just copy content to flash disk and press
volume down + camera + power
best flash disk for this is 256 or 512 mb.

Ok so ihave a Daxian x999+. I've been reading every forum i can on it.
Is worked alright so far. Had to Hard Reset it twice now. And turning it on took forever cause it wouldn't boot Past the WM screen. After a while of it working fine it would't recieve calls from other phones. I did a hard reset to see if it would fix the problem but now it will not turn on. i downloaded the Daxian_x999_T32 bootloader and haven't been able to get it too work. I am able to copy the files to the microsd card. But in order to do that i have to use a somebody elses PPC that can actually connect to my computer to copy the files to the Microsd.
Am I doing this completley wrong or what. Please help me :confused:
