CAPS LOCK PROBLEM - WM6.1 For Excalibur WWE with English Only by Kavana 080408

Hi folks,

I've recently installed the WM6.1 For Excalibur WWE with English Only by Kavana 080408, and the ext9.cab.

After changing the xt9, my keypad works fine except the caps lock button.

Is there any fix, or seting thar i should do?

I've reinstalled the cab file (remove + reinstall) and just worked...

On my Dash, when pressing and holding either , or . I don't get : or ; like I should. Is there a way to fix this?

I installed the Karvana ROM, and the eT9 full cab. Works all but the CAPS in foreign languages (rather than ENGLISH)

I am Having the CAPS problem too using the PORTUGUESE layout.

BUT, the CAPS works just fine in the ENGLISH language... with the ENGLISH keyboard layout. I tryied to replace the Porgtuguese layout with the ENGLISH, but it seems this is not a "virtual" key map issue. (CAPS still not works).

It appears to be other configuration thing... maybe any other WINDOWS registry conf? any ideas?

I have an idea... use Rickwyatt´s... Portuguese layout works great. It only needs to change 6 bytes of an TXT file. If you want i may post it here. As far as i know, Ricky´s rom is the only one that works great with portuguese (brazilian) layout. I´ve decided to give up Kavana´s because i was almost going nuts with all the keyboard issues.

yes there is.

Guide yourself to the \windows folder, find the file "eT9.Excalibur.0409.kmap"
Drag it to your desktop.
Open it with Notepad.
replace existing with this:
{0xBC , ; ; 0xff} // 0xBC = VK_COMMA
{0xBE . : : 0xff} // 0xBE = VK_PERIOD
, towards the bottom.
Before saving it, you might have to check the properties of the file and remove the read-only attribute.
Then save and transfer it back to your phone.
Reboot

Just insalled kavana rom, and et9 full, caps don't work! No one knows a solution?
I use German layout-->QWERTZ
All is perfect except that
