Insert problem for txt message

Hello,

i need help, in the text message i go to menu and go to insert and oddly i cannot pick a picture, file..etc its all like faded unsure how to explain.

Also.. i been looking at the OZ messenger, and i tried it and got the text message problem. I looked it up here but they told me to go change the internet,tzone, and MMS. and it didnt work for me. can ne one help?

also.. my MMS messages are being sent. i press send... and it just goes back to the regular home page.. nothin happens.. (ask the ppl i send it too and they nvr recieved it.)

i did that part already with all of them, and i still cant send...

and when doin regular txt message and u go to insert all the choices r faded, can u tell me how to fix that?

I also hav At&t not T-mobile, does that matter?

Well since those settings are for tmobile in that link, then on ATT, of course, the settings would be different.

There is a program called "Connection Setup" in the new ROM's just run it and select your country and carrier and it should set everything up for you.

OK i downloaded the

HTC Excalibur

1.33.422.1 (Worldwide English, WM6)

and i ran it, it reseted my Phone...
and everything is updated(better looking..lol)

umm.. where is this "Connection Setup" ?

i cant find it? and when i still go to text message (the regular one not MMS) why cant i insert anything? the words Picture, Voice note, and file are all faded words and cant choose them.

I believe it is under Accessories.. I don't think you can add stuff like words pictures, voice notes... because those are things that are done within MMS messages to my knowledge and not just regular txt messages

Oh ok I see, well if you want it to run a little better try the new rom updated version 23 its located below in my signature.

i have an unlocked Dash and im using cingular on it, also i have kavana Rom and no im not able to send or receive MMS, does anyone have same issue or can someone point me at the right direction.. Thanks

That "vista button" you're referring to is a plugin called SmartToolkit. This thing has SO many functions... It has an auto-keylock function which can activate a screensaver; it restructures your menu interface to resemble more of a "PC feel"; it also makes your files easily accessible (quicker than using File Explorer). These are just SOME of the many things you can do with this sucker.

EDIT: From what I hear, version RC08 is less buggy and more reliable than the newer RC09.

Umm.. i downloaded your thing twice and when i tried to install it it kept sayin error. Mayb i was doin something wrong.. but oh well.. i already fully customized the one i have.. to lazy to redo it all again..


The connection setup was a breezze and i can do MMS now..

However i still cant connect to AIM..
Can some one give me thier settings or something.. im still tinkering around to see if i can fix it.. but until then.... Help...!?!?

Edit: Im using the OZ messenger...

also when im at screen to pick AIM, ICQ, or Yahoo messenger, at the top it says t-mobile , does that matter as well...??
