I am having a problem with my phone that is a pain in the rear, it only started recently and I have made no changes in programs used or set up. The phone was working fine and its only when it drops to 57-59% that it switches of.. today though I was having difficulties in getting it restarted so I switched back to the original battery (I have been using a 1600 mAh one since I got it) to see if that makes a difference. I have search a bit and its not like any of the "... of deaths" that are floating about, I can normally restart the phone but today it would only get up to the second splash screen after the screen with the 3 lines describing radio etc. Any ideas as to what it might be...?
I thought it might be a program conflict (ie using two programs together forcing it to switch off) but it does it when there is only one running, or on a call or doing an sms or closing the sms screen... any ideas will be very appreciated...

I had the same problem with my old BA, the battery was going bad. I bought a new battery and it solved the problem. Try using the battery that came with it and see if the problem persists.

Cheers for the reply, yeah doing that as we speak, I think the contacts of the 1600 battery are not in their original position, they look like they have been pushed back when compared to the original.

Just an update... I switched the battery back to the original one that came with my phone and its working fine, so it appears that the battery was at fault and not only that but I seem to be getting as much life from the 1150 (or what ever it is) mAh batt as I was from the 1600...
