If you're talking about your Touch Cruise, why don't you just look for a recording (*.wav, *.mid, *.mp3, *.wma, etc.), edit it down to the 25 seconds or so you want, and use it in that format? You might also want to double the volume, depending on your original recording.

I do that a lot and have great ringtones.
