So i have a 8125, it was my first pocket pc phone, i now have a tilt, i let my friend borrow my 8125 because i was never using it, so one day he comes to my house and brings it back he says that it stopped working, it was charging and when he woke up it wouldn't turn on, i was like wtf, inside i was thinking he screwed it up, but i read on these forums that happens sometimes, so i tried the 9v battery thing, no go, every time i hooked up the phone to the charger without the battery a red light would flash, but when i put the battery in it wouldn't do anything, so i tried a second battery to see what happens, nothing whatsoever, so i stopped trying anything for like 2 weeks, then i was like screw it, ill open it and take the mobo and lightly slam it on the desk, guess what, it fixed it, and its still working like new. i slammed it on the metal shielding, and it works perfectly fine. just thought I'd share maybe it will work for some people getting red led's.
