There are no Updates available. Maybe Microsoft does not see the requirement in updating Windows Mobile.

Maybe Microsoft has no interrest in doing so. Who knows. Who cares. :-)

There are updates (search MS site). At least timezone fixes. But you can't get them through Windows Update.

Windows Update does not work as it should be: automatically. I don't even know if it works at all. IMO, It should not exit (be deployed in WM) if it's not ready to work.
