I flashed it to my Elfin. Everything seem OK but it missed HTC Network Wizard. Schapp System Config is misssing too. It's more like a basic Rom install. :)

Did anyone test it yet? It looks pretty good but I'm using Shadow 2.1 at the moment which works very well. I'll only upgrade if there are real speed gains or something like that.

With it you can create vioce tags for phone and sim contacts as well for programs. And than you can call someone or launch program just by saying recorded tag.

I've found 2 "issues" here,

a. after reboot the system, the "recent open applications" listed under the "start" list won't be clean up. In the other words, it will keep cumulating the "recent open application" up to 8 items from the previous time you reboot. I am not sure if this is normal or not, but I prefer this can be clean up every time when reboot. Any idea to achieve that goal ?

b. I prefer to use the "6 tab" instead of "5 tab" plus the "music plug-in" in the TODAY page. Is there any way to change the register table that can achieve that goal ?

I had the same error but was working fine on 2nd try. :)

Attached is a registry file you can import with Resco (or probably other registry editors). It will change your system font to Segoe.ttf and allow you to display Thai (you will still need a keyboard with Thai support to enter Thai). You can edit the registry file and substitute another font for Chinese or other non-Roman language support.

Please read the instructions here http://www.ppcsg.com/index.php?showtopic=67386 or here http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=WM5_Tweak_Language_Chinese). All I have done is export the registry changes and include a copy of Segoe.ttf.

Note that for some odd reason when I first did this and rebooted the changes were in the registry but the fonts wouldn't display. When I woke up this morning, everything was fine.

Well, I've tried a lot of ROMs. Started with Swiftblade's, then left bram_ smulders' at the surface, went on with Cloudyfa's in all flavours and finally becoming fan of PDAviet. After flashing PDAviet's latest again and again for a few months, desperately trying to be up-to-date, I again wanted something new and flashed this ROM as soon as it was released. Although it has less memory free as the famous PDAviet ROM's due to the bigger pagepool I do find it better. It's cleaner, it's quite so fast, and as far as I can see, bugfree.

I've disabled the Cube, tweaked some more with MemMaid etc. and installed SPB Mobile Shell. After a soft reset I've 20 MB free to breath. So far I can live with that.

Monsterfly, I'm your biggest supporter by now! Thank you very very much!!

Use attached cab file and you will get HTC Home with just 4 tabs (favorite people removed).
Need to restart Elf after installation.

When I click the link from Pocket IE, it launches the JBed application but it returns an error saying .jad not found at this url. No, I've got the same error trying to do so. Therefore I've downloaded de .jad/.jar file at Opera.com and installed it the .cab-way. Running fine now.

Yeah that works for Opera but can not download the file for Gmail app anywhere. Anyone know a fix for this problem? Monsterfly?

Edit: I am quite sure now that its a Pocket Internet Explorer Program because installing Opera (Regular) browser and using that, the JADs are downloaded fine but now installation stops at downloading the JAR part (which I am guessing invokes Pocket IE). Anyone know of any registry or security settings that might be causing PIE to block JAR and JAD files?

You need to run pof's USPL before flashing, if you have rom with IPL and SPL on your phone.

Basically when I go to YouTube on my device using Opera (or even Internet Explorer) and I try to play a video, it loads up (with Monsterfly 1.0.0 and 1.0.1) media player (or HTC streaming media - both get same results) and it tries loading for about 5 seconds, then says "server not found" or something.

It says it cannot get a connection or something. And it does this on EVERY single YouTube video. I also cannot access some website because I need flash - any solutions to this YouTube and (possibly) flash issue?

Sounds like the same PIE issue that I have talked about earlier...
It seems like Pocket IE is not allowing any calls through it from external programs. Monsterfly does that make sense? Anyone has a possible solution to this?
Edit: Media off WindowsMedia.com works perfectly. And so does from Internet Radio sites such as Virgin Radio UK

For viewing sites with flash you need flash player. Do you have it? Try with Macromedia Flash Player 7 (http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer_pocketpc/) for example.

Guys Finally Imanaged to have A monsterfly 1.0.1 Rom with 4mb Page pool

Now the rams after startup are

27.89 Mbinstead of 21Mb

Attention to all ELF user, this rom ROCKS.. with 4mb page pool and disabling touchflo, it have 29mb free program memory at the first start. For all elf user who longing for bigger memory, fast and stable rom, should try this one.
