Now about Beam:

Beam now works as it should!! You can enable/disable beam either in Comm Manager or Settings->Connections->Beam. So you don’t have to worry about enabling/disabling in both places.

You must not restore full backups (that include system files) from previous roms, bc it can cause somethings so stop working properly.

About that, I haven't been able to fix it. I still need to try with new XIP part, but I decided to stick with the XIP part that solves most problems for most users. Because I don't know many people that will use TOMTOM while listening to music on the device...:rolleyes:

I actually love your roms, they're very fast and stable. But still there's something that's keeping me from using them and it's that HTC home won't show the media tab, and that's my favourite, and also you should think about including audio manager instead of just windows media player, audio manager's playlist system is more useful.

Now you can use media tab in HTC Home. It's just not enabled by default.
To enable it go to Start->Settings->Today

Disable home plugin
In HTC Home tab check Music
Enable home plugin

I can understand that it's not te priority.
But I don't think it's a question of XIP. On the pdaviet rom which had solved this issue, I tested several version of this pdaviet rom and all of them had diffrent build number and the A2DP was ok on all of them.(19719, 19209, 19701, 19213)
Hope it can help to find the solution.

The Spb MobileShell2_1 drives the device crazy, I think that it is not fully WM 6.1 compatible. Uninstalled it.

So, after flashing the Normal version and after 4 hours of testing, I can say that this ROM is the fastest working I had ever seen on my device (maybe OS, maybe tweaks, maybe both ;)).
In comparison with the 3.2, boot up time is slower by 10 seconds, but after startup, operation is faster.
Overall, great ROM! Congratulations!

P.S.: Good to see you removed the SRS WOW thing!

Maybe because you've flashed the ROM without SD Card.
Since the ROM redirects some files like e-mails attachments and Internet temporary files, it created a fake Storage Card to put them in.
Just take your SD Card out, delete Storage Card folder, and put your SD back in.
This issue has been addressed so many time already...:(

Well, I've finally tested with new XIP part (the one that doesn't solve password and lost settings, which BTW is the one PDAViet ROMS are using), and as I suspected, it solved the problem. Now when playing music in WMP with A2DP, starting TOMTOM will only take about 20 secs.
Now, personally, I don't have the loosing password and settings problem in my device with any XIP, but it's true that old XIP part from ausdim + adewidt A2DP fix solves most people problems, so I think i'll stick with it.
The other option is to learn how to cook :D

No, not really, but take a look at the battery life/drain checklist (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2166863&postcount=240). All applies except for the beams, in version 3.3 there is only one beam, not two as in earlier editions.

Try to use a different radio version ... I encountered the same problem when using 1.50.08.11. Then I downgraded it to 1.46.30.11 and it seems OK now.

Actually it was queer~dude who described it while replying with quote to my startup problem which got fixed by the way. FInixNOver is aware of this issue though he is not experiencing it. I'm sure he will correct it (for all versions) as soon as he finds the root of it.

Well, I've finally tested with new XIP part (the one that doesn't solve password and lost settings, which BTW is the one PDAViet ROMS are using), and as I suspected, it solved the problem. Now when playing music in WMP with A2DP, starting TOMTOM will only take about 20 secs.
Now, personally, I don't have the loosing password and settings problem in my device with any XIP, but it's true that old XIP part from ausdim + adewidt A2DP fix solves most people problems, so I think i'll stick with it.
The other option is to learn how to cook :D

About MMS and Voice Mail in ArcSoftMMS, I'm aware the sound cannot be heard, but if you send an MMS with sound, the person who receives it will hear it. But I guess the problem is listening to received MMS, right? So, maybe I should go back to an older version of ArcSoftMMS...:(

About alarms, i admit i never had problems with the default alarm of WM6, but they are boring, really, and with few (almost none) options.
My sugestion is SpoonAlarm. You can use mp3, there are alot of options, like snooze, and it's freeware. You can check it out here (http://www.spoontools.com/index_files/Page1220.htm).
As for Live Messenger, i use version 10.6.0034.0800 with this FInixNOver 3.3 ROM and works fine with me. You can find it here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334621).

There is no need to re-release. I personally have not experienced any errors with this ROM but those who did can fix them on their own. They are not serious errors to justify a re-release in my opinion.

About network name I found that as network name always appears: UMTS NetworkName and when the icon changes from 3G to G (so there is no 3G coverage) the network name remains as UMTS NetworkName when it should change to NetworkName only.

Does the cab file to fix the networksname released for v3.2 applied to this ROM too?

Flashed the FInixNOver3.3 yesterday and I didn't know how fast the trinity could run. Amazing! Awsome ROM and the fastest I tested so far. Great job!!!

The Weater-Plugin uses the connection to update and everything seems fine. BUT when IE or Opera tries to load any content, a little popup comes up out of the connection symbol that tells: "Cannot connect with current connection settings. To change your connection, tap Settings." When I tap and try to set up a new connection there is no option to use Wlan as "Select modem"- only BT, Cellular Line , IrDA or COM1. Did anybody ever experience this? Any hint where to surge for a solution to this problem?
Dont know if it matters but I use Radio 1.46.00.11.

Ok, I found the solution for the problem: If somebody discovers the same problem there is, at least for IE the following Reg-modification:
Change the parameter "EnableAutoDetect" in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings from to 1. That did the magic for me. :)
Now I will search for that setting for Opera as well. Just in case somebody knows that one right away I would appreciate any hint :D

Hi All,
I am looking for the help.
I did an upgrade of my HTC Trinity to new 6.1 FinixOver 3.3.

After 1 hours or so, 2 buttons - Green (Call) and Red (end call) stop working.
I tried to reset, hard reset, upgrade to other ROMs. Same result.

I installed Schaps Advanced Configuration Tool and it looks like (via Mapping) the buttons are disabled or not recongnized.

I don't know what I could do else. Of course it could be hardware failure, but it looks like strange co-incident.

Any ideas, how to check what to try, what to do? It is diffcult to use this phone without these major button.

I have the same problem.

If you have your phone turned off from the CommManager, it will not turn on at the first tap but it will turn on at second tap.
Afaik all WM6.x versions have this - I don't know if it is an issue or it is a designed behaviour. So to enable phone from CommManager, tap once, wait, nothing happens and then tap again and phone will turn on.
In case it will not, you might need to look into some other things, like incompatibilities or maybe upgrade your Radio.

I try to make some changes in the registry:
1. Enable clear type on landscape mode
2. Screen rotation on video full screen mode

It does work but when I make a soft reset all changes are back to your rom's original settings. How can I make them permanent?:confused: I use Trinity Hack, Total Commander & HTCustom but none of the softwares can do it.

Using this rom I get the following issue: the micorphone in the original wired headset does not seem to work. It does not work neither calling somebody nor trying to record something with notes. The speakers work and I can hear everything that would come out of the build in speakers- it is just the microphone that does not work.

Great ROM. I used the 3.2 and now the 3.3.

Only one thing is not so nice. The deafault directory for the IE temporary files is the Storge Card. I think it is the same for the Mail. This makes me unhapy, because, if the storage card is not in, the system makes a new Storage Card directory and stores the pushmail data in it. If I push the storage card, a new "Storage Card 2" directory will be created. After deleting the new virtual Storage Card directory und repushing the storage card all the things are fine, except, that the content and attachement of the last few e-mails are lost (deleted with the old virtual Storage Card directory).

Could you pleas make a correction patch to reset all the directories so, that the system does not use the storage card?

Yes that´s exactly wath happens!

If that's so, I must say it's quite strange. Firstly, if you have the BT turned ON in your device, and it's visible to others, it should be detected by your car kit.
And even if it's not detect, when you receive a call, if the BT is active the call would be redirected to your car kit automatically.
And finally, of course, when you leave your car, the connection will be lost, but the BT on your device should remain active,

Correct that´s how it work before i upgrade to the 3.2 rom.

unless you are using some sound profiles application with automatic profiles(something like SPB Phone Suite), where you can define it to turn ON and OFF BT when switching profiles.

Nope no application for managing the phone only what comes with the rom.

Other than this it should work properly.
Never the less, maybe you should try the new FInixNOver 3.3 ROM

I sill can´t make Bt work....

I have downgrade to 1.46.00 and 1.46.30 and upgrade ROM to 3.3 full and nothing everything the same!

After connecting with Car BT headset... (kit maos livres bmw) only last connected 30sg. If after this i go on the p3600 to the bluethoot config menu it´s OFF. but on the Commanager it´s ON!!!

i have unistall opera ciberon and PCMkeybord apps.

Yes that´s exactly wath happens!

If that's so, I must say it's quite strange. Firstly, if you have the BT turned ON in your device, and it's visible to others, it should be detected by your car kit.
And even if it's not detect, when you receive a call, if the BT is active the call would be redirected to your car kit automatically.
And finally, of course, when you leave your car, the connection will be lost, but the BT on your device should remain active,

Correct that´s how it work before i upgrade to the 3.2 rom.

unless you are using some sound profiles application with automatic profiles(something like SPB Phone Suite), where you can define it to turn ON and OFF BT when switching profiles.

Nope no application for managing the phone only what comes with the rom.

Other than this it should work properly.
Never the less, maybe you should try the new FInixNOver 3.3 ROM

then I tried several roms with W6.1 (PDAMobiz, PDAViet, etc.) and had the same problem, bluetooth in Trinity is always ON but the hands free connect and reconnect every 30-40 seconds

I thought that the problem was WM6.1, but yesterday installed Trinity WM6.1.Black Edition.OS 5.2.19701 Build 19701.1.0.2 by Akeo and the hands free works well !!!

this rom is the best, for P3600... but in my case, using Vodafone PT in Lisbon city, lost 3G signal to quickly, missing calls every hour... the Trinity is by my side, with network, and next a warning message appears with a lost call a second back... have tried Radio ROM 1.38 / 1.46, 1.46.30 and 1.50... the only that work good is 1.38, and 1.46 not bad also!!

When a turn off 3G service, this case of missed calls appears less... have tried HTC WM6.1 / MARY ROM and this... same to all!! Tested in a Nokia N73 ME (last firmware), all went good, no missed calls!!

This is a case of bad network or weak signal or can be the problem from the device?! Thanks for any helpful tips!!

That's a problem with your P3600 motherboard. My P3600 have the same problem that was resolved with the change of motherboard.

I know that when I press 0, the screen will display at 0 at the left hand side and 6 at the right hand side. But the actual phone number is correct when I press dial.

Don't know if other encounters this or not?

Guys, this might be a noob question (this is the first cooked ROM I'm considering trying), but what's the story with the radio in these ROMs? Is one included in it, or does it just use the latest one that was on the phone before you flashed it? I currently have the factory D810 MW6 ROM with radio 1.46.30.11.

it will use your existing radio.

if you want to upgrade the radio you will have to seek that out seperately.

FOr SIMMAX, i turn off one sim card number to pass to another SIm card number, its dosnt work, it says,"NO SIM CARD, PLS INSERT"/

This bug appeared yesterday while I was installing few applications, but after a soft-reset (because of installations) and since soft-reset it's working OK.

Using v3.4 Black Normal.

Has anyone else experienced this...

My battery gives the impression it is draining pretty fast since I loaded this ROM, but I've noticed that when I do a soft reset and then plug in the charger, the info in Settings/Power are showing a much higher reading.

Today for example, the battery status was showing it as having gone down to 10% by 4pm, but after the soft reset and then the charger being plugged in, it was back around 80% in a few minutes (which is where the battery level usually was around that time of the day using my previous ROM).

I haven't noticed anything else in the forums for v3.3 or this listed as a big fix for v3.4 so it's got me confused. Could it be software related (ie should I try a different battery meter, like VistaHide which I used in my old ROM) or is it a battery issue and I need to recalibrate the battery (which seems odd that it only surfaced since loading this ROM)?

Have you set any password? If so remove it and that should do it.
Or maybe you've installed some application which requires a password and is linked to windows password...:confused::rolleyes:
