i think the best one is the one that has the software you need. it isnt nessesarily how fast the car is, but the driver.
I love my wizard. everyonce in a while I see one come along that I drool over... untill I see how limited the oem software is.
although I kinda wish I had the euro kaiser. the one with the camera in the front (skype) :)

Due to my work I get to work and play with all of your devices and at the moment have all the HTC models up to Universal right here in my toy box, starting with Smartphone edition. I always go back to Universal, despite the size. NOTHING beats that device. From time to time I put my SIM into something else just to keep the button/usage familiarity up to date, but each and every time I feel I miss my Uni too much to part with it for more than a day. JMTCW. :p

I owned an ATT tilt/kaiser for a month and sold it out of complete spite over it's lack of.. well.. everything. I reverted back to my mda/wizard and have not looked back. The wizard does far more and IMO is the best phone from HTC. unfortunately it's not 3G so i will probably go blackberry when tmo 3g gets to california. It's not worth the money for a 3g phone that i can't play doom or watch movies on (stupid tilt). 2 thumbs up to the wizard.

Have owned a Tytn, a Touch, a Kaiser, and now have a HP 614c, and for me it's the best one.

After using any device Verizon has that is worth buying, I'm going to say the Touch/Vogue/xv6900. Lightweight, lots of memory (storage and RAM), I really like to flat and smooth screen (makes it easier to swipe the screen). Only two pieces missing on it are no Wi-Fi, and no flash on the camera, but I have an unlimited data plan and rarely pull out the phone to take pics in the dark, so my vote is the Touch!

Another vote for the Trinity, even if you did forget to include GPS as part of it's spec. Just wish the initial black coating was a wee bit more durable, mind you most of min has now come off and the under lying silver has rubbed off to reveal a shiny black surface anyway.

my treo 700wx with WM6 is a serious good phone now... much thanx to all who figured out how to port the O/S to the sprint updater program. i was thinking 800w when it does arrive, but why bother? considering all the accessories and such i already have it makes no sense to upgrade.

I like the big screen VGAs.
Dopod 900 @ HTC Universal and O2 XDA Flame, but not the best.
But I think the best has yet to be born. The best is refering to one that has all the possible features. For almost every phone, I can tell you what's missing there.
Still waiting for my ideal, best PDA to appear.

Personally, a FREE pda phone is the best. :p
Or one that will pay my bills for me, cooks supper, washes my clothes.....
Wait a minute, I'm thinking about something else, never mind. :o

Nobody has any love for the Touch Pro (http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=1306)? If it turns out to be what the pre-release specs say it is I am definitely buying one. 5 row querty board, all the flavors of 3G, GPS, TV out, VGA screen, HUGE memory, only 18mm thick...awesome.

just got the touch dual. retired, er sold the tytn II, i've had it for 3 days and can't say that i miss the kaiser. the touch dual is slim, light looks good and it still has the qwerty keyboard albeit very mobile phone esque but i like being able to text with one hand. It may not have gps and wifi, yet, but i really don't think i'll miss them with 3g

I believe it's the Kaiser, even with it's hardware hiccups. Way too many features to list and it's highly configurable as all (or most) WinMo devices are. I'm very pleased that I graduated from the Herald to the Kaiser in 2/08.
