I want to share my favorite theme: Windows mobile 7

Sorry for my bad English. I will try my best to answer all your questions :D

How to install:
Very Simple: Unzip and copy to foder of each program

I spent 3 days trying to find out how to unlock an orange htc tytn II but did not succeed. Is it possible to unlock it freely?
Can we upgrade a wm6 to wm6.1 or 7 without unlocking the phone?

Unzip Fonts.zip, copy all fonts to \Windows\Fonts. Reset your PPC. ;)

1. Here is my today theme. Copy .tsk file to \My Documents Folder

i love the pocket cm contact skin
but is very slow when i want to open a contact
when i use the other skins kike dream or white everything going fast
i dont know why there is this delay when i touch any button with the littlerain WM7.

I'm having the same issue. I only have the battery and memory bars selected but it puts them on top of each other instead of side by side. Any ideas?

I noticed the issue with the bars is due to Resco also putting a little "Settings" button to the left of the bars, how do you get rid of it?

I only use two meters. It puts them on one line, then all of a sudden a second later it puts them on different lines. I am using Ultimate Launch with this, but I don't think that would have anything to do with this though, would it?

It's driving me crazy....I'm retarded....I did everything but I get the weather on the main page too and it gives me a scroll bar on the right. If I uncheck it in today settings, it's fine but then I can't use the nice weatherpanel app. How did you separate it from the rltoday?

Open UltimateLaucherConfig.exe

1. If you dont like tabs, you can hide them by click on "headers tab ", edit "Height" to 0

2. Open UltimateLaucherConfig.exe; tap New --> tap "Combination of tabs". At this tab, you can insert how many plugins as you want.

You have to press a button that shows a list of every options. Then press details.

I think there is not a shortcut from the front... :(

I was wondering if the highlighted area on the attached picture be just left to the default background and not the white square. Also the top line where it says "Contact Information:", is there a way to get rid of that as well.

For those who are having the Resco plugin go on separate lines, I figured out what was wrong. If you are using Ultimate Launch, go into the settings and the display tab. By default there is a 2 pixel left/right margin, and this is causing the plugin to go onto 2 separate lines. Change it to 0 and problem fixed! Thanks for this awesome theme!

I did notice that this skin is nearly 100kb in size, all the other skins I have are around 8-9kb.

Same goes for the PCM skin (huge in size). Any thoughts on using a more robust/compressed format?

I changed around the PocketCM theme, all credit still goes to creator.

I made the received SMS's black box instead of bright green, and made the unread have a gray box around the message.

The quality of the SS is horrible, looks much better on device obviously. There is no black box in the read messages...its just pixelated.

Would anyone here be interested in creating a comm manger (6 button style) and HTC Action Screen that are in-line with the rest of the theme? I absolutely love this way my tilt is looking now, but black comm manager and gray action screen kind of detract form the experience, lol.

Hey rvashi, I can help you with the first 2:

1. Go into UL config> 'headers' tab: change the "height" to 0.
2. Go into UL config> 'display' tab: change "fixed plugin-height" to 267, (be sure to mark the check box)

Reinstall Spb MS and try again, if still gives you the same message, then at least one of your files is not properly encypted (probably you would like to rencrypt your new files as the 1st option).

Looks like you don't have the fonts installed. The xxx's will go away after a soft reset or a missed call.

without unlocking you can't upgrade your phone.

Very beautiful theme.

However I'm having one problem that in some folders, for example settings, the icons that are assigned to each function is not corretc. For example, for the function "Soft Key" the icon that appear is a phone. The function "Phone" shows the Today icon.

How can reassign the icons to each function??

I am using the S.M.S 2.1 WM7 Theme. But I noticed that the font size for the carrier name on each tab are different. For example, on the Clock screen (first to the left) the font is a little big so text is pushed down. Then on the Calendar tab the font is perfect. Then on the Programs tab the font size is perfect but on the Weather tab its too big again. Does anyone know which .dat files I need to edit to correct this?

I don't understand this theme and how to install it. There are no folders in the ZIPs that tell you what goes where. I was able to install PocketCM but I don't understand where the files are for Spb and Weatherpanel are.

@wwtfyo I got the keyboard to work. Just select it under PCM Keyboard Themes. Be sure you copied the files to the right folder. Don't copy the entire folder with the files in it, just move the files to the already existing folder of PCM.

Ok the Clock is working now, ty colossus. Now only the bars and the blue separator lines.

Just do a Google search on the program names and you should be able to get the programs in question.

Put it in the pocket keyboard folder instead. I got the keyboard to work but can't get it to show up in pocketcm for anything. Can't figure out what files to even put in weather panel either. Mine does NOT look like the pics but I am still pluggin away. Thanks very much to the creator though. I love the theme and I WILL get it figured out even if it takes until I swap to a new phone.:D

The icon went missing after a day of use, now I also cant get it back, tried uninstalling and reloading theme with no success.

Edit: Just listined and deleted my one voice mail and the icon showed back up. will this happen everytime we receive a voicemail?

first of all, let me say, that i love this theme! it is almost perfect for me!
but only almost... ;)

right now i´m using the initial thing postet in the "big package" in the first post. it is the one with: now, calender, programs, mru and contacts tabs.
this is just great, except for the clock on "now" screen!
i´d like to have the one mentioned on the pics in first post! the one that looks like a kind of blue diamond clock!
and i couldn´t get it to work...
ok ok, i know that there is an update, but when i install the update, the clock works, but the mru-tab suddenly is a whether-tab with some kind of black-colored diamond-background!!!

i just want it to stay mru!!!

I have followed all of your steps to get this theme installed right yet please forgive me what exactly do you mean by unzip and then copy to each folder? Do you mean extract to for each of your 5 files to the 5 programs? This is where I am stucK and any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I have all of the neccessary programs on my Touch Cruise yet am stuck where I said. I have been trying to ge this skin or theme right for the past day, no lie, yet am now getting somewhat frustrated and am asking for your help please. Been chasing this all afternoon. My WM6.1 doesn't have a .ttf file association in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. This prevents copying the fonts to my device. Could anyone post the .ttf registry entries?

You have to go to the ActivSync Tools --> Advanced Tools --> Edit File Concersion Settings.. and uncheck "Convert files...." Copy the fonts to windows files\fonts and then recheck "Convert files...

I was frustrated at first as well, but I'll give you the steps as I understand them:

The files provided are just themes for their respective programs. You have to have the programs, (PocketCM, SPB Mobile Shell, rltoday, and PCMkeyboard) installed before you copy over the folders that littlerain provided links for.

So,

1. Download and install SPB Mobile Shell (shareware) from their website
2. Downlaod and install PocketCM (freeware)
3. Download and install PCMkeyboard (freeware)
4. Download and install rltoday (freeware)
5. Download and install weather application (I didn't install this one so I'm not familliar here)

6. Copy Pocketcm to \Program Files\pocketcm\ (just copy the zip file, no need to unzip it)
7. Copy Pocketkyboard to \Program Files\PCMKeyboard\
8. Copy rlToday:\Program Files\rlToday\Skin
9. Finally Spb Mobile Shell to \Program Files\Spb Mobile Shell\

And lastly, soft reset then activate the today plugins for rlToday.

Note: the correct sized fonts are on page 2 of this thread

I like your skin MS2.1, I've made some changes, add icon for message voice, change some text size on the home page and make 3 pages contacts and try to change background weather but I'm blocked :

in your first image you have 5 buttons on the bottom. The first shows the clock,the second the calender, the third the programms, the forth the weather and the last the contacts. From the first moment I installed this theme I can get the weather in the 4 button. Instead of the weather it shows me again the same with the 3 button but with a clock on it. How can I change it and put the weather there? I can see my weather panel only in the today screen.

Has anyone else had their icons in the Setting and Tools menus mixed up after installing the WM7 theme? For example, my "Sounds and Notifications" icon is a keyboard, the "Today" icon is the screen icon, etc. Any one else have this problem? Any fix to this?

littlerain, this theme is beautiful.
Excellent work, I found these skins very easy to install.

I do have one request... Is it possible to post just the clock segment of the rltoday skin. I use other programs for voicemail, email, text alerts... so the bottom bar including the separator don't really work for me.
The blue box containing the date and time is VERY NICE though and I would love to have just it. I tried to mess around with it a little myself but to no avail.

i am having a little problem recoloring some of the graphics, for the sms messages. I know that littlerain probably won't answer right now, but if someoone else could help me figure this out i would be very grateful. i have recolored all of the green graphics hat i could find in the pocketcm theme, but there is still something not colored correctly and is green.... the images that were recolored are bottom_left, bottom_middle, bottom_right, middle_left, middle_right, top_left, top_middle and top_right

Since we're on a forum (=public) it wouldn't be a good idea to answer questions by mail (=private)...

The only thing you need to do is make sure you have the mentioned programs installed on your device and folow the small, simple steps described in the first post...

the thing that I need (and most of all the user need i think...) it's all the instructions to install the theme on the phone starting by 0...excuse me if I have shout but when I have try to do this thing my face became green like hulk (I was a little nervous)....so if you can do anything for explain all easily....thanks a lot and compliments 4 the amazing theme!

what do you mean by military ? The 24H format ?
In France it's the standard, I've made nothing on it in my cab, I think it's a rule enable by your regional settings.

I've had my touch Vouge a little over a month and new to windows mobile, (had palm centro before) I'm addicted to everything you can do with them. and I think I'm learning pretty fast. ok to the point I think the theme is awsome I have had like 10 on my toy (phone) now and I would really like to change this one. but I can't figure out how to do the zip file. Usually when i open a zip file there is a cab inside then just download from there. Can anyone please tell me how to install this on my touch pretty plz Your time would be much appreciated ! For SPB Mobile Shell you need only this zip file:

a) Extract the zip file
b) Copy the files to your installation directory for SPB Mobile Shell (for example: Programs/SPB Mobile Shell)
c) SoftReset

Hint: Backup the files in the SPB Mobile Shell directory before copy the "new" files !

I really liked the pocketCM theme so I am just using that. Though when I text the character count has a delay. Sometimes it will stay 160/160 and then when I send the text it will tell me like 122/160, but this is useless after I have already sent the text!

Is anyone else experiencing this problem or is it just my device?

I'm using a Sprint HTC Mogul with original ROM (updated for GPS and RevA). I'm using pocketCM 0.21 because the 0.23 release had the text progress bar and it really bothered me. Could this be the source of the problem? I tried installing 0.23 but stilled had the same problem.

I use only the SPB Mobile Shell Theme.
At the top of the screen over the weather icon and SPB Phone Suite icon theres a number !?!? :-(

With a simililar spb shell theme when I turn on the pda I watch the third page (with 9 menu) and not the first, can I set it on your theme??

Well, after a few hours of tweaking and configuring, i've finally got it. Its a very nice theme and my favorite so far. I must say that to all the people that gave littlerain a hard time, this isnt the easiest theme to install but at the same time im no pro either. I was able to find and install all the said programs just by reading other posts. Please be kind to the cooks people.
