Hello HTC Shift users,

I found how to recovery from USB drive.
It's convenient to upgrade Shift's HDD.

Warning;

I will no response for your data lost with this method.

Requirement;

1.How to visible recovery partiton

2.HDD image backup/restore software
I'm using Acronis True Image Home.

3.USB drive (>=4GB)

How to;

1.Visible recovery partition

2.Make image backup from Local Disk(D drive)
You can image backup file on your desktop.

3.Restore image backup to USB Drive(E drive)
1st step = Restore FAT32 partition
2nd step = Restore MBR and Track 0
(2nd step is require to make bootable your USB drive)

4.Reboot from USB drive
Restart your SHIFT.
Press Fn+F10 on boot screen.
Select your USB drive.

5.Recovery process start !
Be Carefully !!!
Recovery process will start automatic.
There is no confirm screen.
You cannot cancel recovery after booting USB drive.

Thanks a lot for this, I have done your procedure today and now I can easily start from scratch whenever necessary !

sorry, can u let me know how : 2nd step = Restore MBR and Track 0 ??
