This is a skin made for HTC Home based on the HTC Diamond interface

*From freewarepocketpc.net Diamond HTC Home Skin was produced by lpaso
**Note you need to add HH_HOME_pm, HH_HOME_am, HH_HOME_alarmoff, and HH_HOME_alarmon to get the clock to work if you are using a 12hr clock. You can find these four files in your windows directory HTC HOME CUSTOMIZER under any clock folder.

Maybe you're just using the standard file explorer. If so, you'll need to download and install e.g. Resco Explorer.

Hey all,
Need some help with this Today theme.
For the life of me, I can't seem to copy over the files to the Windows directory. I keep getting a message stating I do not have permission.
What I have done...
Disable HTPC homescreen and plug-in
Soft reset phone
What I have...
The following plug-ins were also disabled...
BatteryStatus, Spb Phone Suite, CoPilot
Still unable to copy files over.
Any help is appreciated...
Best,

redbandana,
Thanks a bunch for this, it looks really slick!
What I did to implement was:
1. Installed HTC Home Customzier (HHC)
2. In the HHC directory, I duplicated the 'Original' folders in the BG and Clock folders, renamed them to 'HTC Diamond', and copied the files from your download to their respective folders.
3. Run HHC and choose my new Diamond styles from the drop-down :)
This allows me to switch between my original layout and the Diamond layout using HHC.
redbandana, I'm not sure how, but maybe you can get this added to the HHC downloads repository? Would make things a lot easier for people not used to mucking about in the system folders ;)

htctouchp,
Thanks for the reply. Was wanting to do it via an ActiveSync Connection.
elypsar,
Thanks for posting this method. It is the route I chose and it does work very well actually. However, there are a couple of minor steps missing.
To the author...
Nice plug-in. :)

so you have another successful method of doing it without going into the windows folder or htchome folder?
what happened to the "seperator" or "colon" for the clock?
also the "+" is missing for the programs or contacts for the home plugin.

I did the ff:
(i) copy the zip file over to the TytnII
(ii) disable HTC Home plugin
(iii) unzip the file on the phone. Choose the "widdows" directory as the target, and the "overwrite" option.
(iv) enable home plugin
Worked OK.

Yep that's my theme ^^
But I think that freewarepocketpc should let appear the credit where they find softs and themes.

Here is a screen shot of what my home screen looks like now.
I have also attached the folders that I created and added the diamond theme files to. If you want to use my method, just extract and save this to your HHC program folder (For me, this is \Storage Card\Program Files\HTC Home Customizer\).
so you have another successful method of doing it without going into the windows folder or htchome folder?
That is correct.
My method allows you to switch between the Diamond theme and others, but if you just want to use the Diamond theme pillayvl's method is much easier:

Hey elypsar using your method how can I select the files that are saved in my Storage Card\Program Files\HTC Home Customizer? I can't seem to figure this out I'm still new at this.
Thanks

Hi
I do have the newest Diamond firmware on my phone which is:
RUU_Diamond_HTC_Europe_1.37.401.3_Radio_Signed_Dia mond_52.26a.25.09_1.00.25.03_Ship.exe
Just wanted to change the theme of one of your great looking ones.
1) installed HHCv10Final.zip
2) deactivated HomePlugin
3) copied Diamond Home (HHC Pack).zip to the phone
wasn't sure where to put the files, in the windows folder there are no bg, clock, icons and weather folder. So I placed the to \Program Files\HTC Home Customizer\FILES\...
4) enabled HomePlugin
My problem is now, all the icons look to small and go over each other so. Is there something I am doing wrong or I just missed?
When I change the clock with HHC it really changes, but just letters, numbers and icons are far to small. They are much smaller than on your posts...
Thanks in advance

These are QVGA themes designed for 320x240 screens. Your Diamond is VGA which is 640x480. Therefore, everything is displayed smaller due to your screen resolution.

Hi all..
Here is how I installed this and it wasa piece of cake....
Download and install HTC Home Customizer (I did on my storage card)
Download some clocks from the program
Copy one of the clocks to a duplicate, name the new one "Flip Clock" with all the files from any of the other clocks you have.
Download the file from the first post here..
Extract the file on your computer, and then copy the files into that "flip clock" folder you created before.. let it overwrite any files that already exist.
Then run HTC Home Customizer.. under clocks you will have a new option called "flip clock".. Select it any enjoy!
P.S. This is a lot more easy that it sounds....
P.P.S. I got this running on my STOCK 6.0 rom w/ HTC home & Home customizer installed... No M2D, 3D or anything simmilar installed.... and it looks sharp
