Change phone identity for network options?

Is it possible to cause your phone (in my case HTC Elf) to appear as something else to web sites? So for example, AT&T MediaNet would think I was on the Tilt and therefore let me download PocketPC apps? (e.g. IM etc.)

I know you can do this on Windows IE, so I would think you could do it on PIE.

KaiserTweak works on the Kaiser but not sure if it will work on your Elf. You could always download KaiserTweak provxml, look at the file and see what registry setting it is changing.

And KaiserTweak has an option for how the browser identifies on the network?

Opera can do this.
You have to go to Menu/Tools/Settings and after change the "Identify as" from "Handheld device" to "Desktop computer".

Well see I don't want it to identfiy as a desktop, I want it to identify as an AT&T Tilt, so I can download from MediaNet.
