nah we appretiate your work, its just emotions are high, with champions league final being on and the new rom being released... I'm sure it will settle down once the rom has been uploaded/the final finishes

I'm intrested to see exactly what he means by diamond rom, will the OS be a mirror of the diamond or will it merely be a bit faster with the diamond clock, keyboard, comm manager, and task manager. I'm running all the diamond versions of these on Dutty's Apr 29th rom so I'm intrigued to see if Leo has these or a more complete port of the diamond rom.

Also Beer is good, girls are good, and the two together are great (combine them with a river on a hot day in Texas and you have paradise).

Football is okay (since leaving England and returning to the U.S. I have not been as into it, in Europe is MMA (mixed martial arts) starting to take off yet? There is a huge fight coming up this weekend and an even bigger fight has been announced for July 19, its gonna be great.

Dude I applaud you and think you're spot on. In fact you should be hammering the delete button even more. PPL need not quote the first post and ask for the download link and post unrelated things repeatedly. These threads quickly become a mess to try and navigate for useful info. I don't post much and do more reading for answers than asking, so I suffer from having to wade through the bs. Bravo dude, and anyone who gives back-talk to a moderator doing his job - shame on ya.

There really isn't a set way. We've had some request it, some recommended for it and some recruited.

Personally (if accurately remember that long ago) I opened my big mount in a Hermes Rom Thread (Faria Rom) and offered to keep it decluttered for him if I was a Mod. Just a life lesson, never offer unless you're ready to follow through.

Once your name is put forward, we talk about you in private forums for a while and look at your post history, consider what other kinds of contribs you've made to the community. Personally I had been a member for like a year or so and had done a few helpful things like created a Radio Rom Repository for Wizard, built a few cab files, actively Beta tested some Roms & apps etc. I hadn't even cooked my first Rom until after I was a Mod.

Then once we realize that we do need additional moderators we actually vote and i you get enough votes then now moring you wake-up and suddenly have a lot more work to do and no additional pay.
