flashing problem update stopped at 70%

i was installing WM6 and running the rom update utility phone got to 70% and then gave me an error message
unplugged the usb cable and got the multi colored screen
tried the update again and phone is locked on the cingular screen wont start
cant connect via usb

you need to flash official rom first, and then wm6(.1)
