From your PC with the phone connected via Activesync just open My Computer and your phone should be listed there with all your drives. Just click on it and you'll see the storage card.

It doesnt show up as a drive or anything.. the only thing that shows is the Mobile Device Icon.. which will go in.. but i dont have the option to format..

Ahhhh ... You didn't ask about formatting the storage card in your initial post.
If you want to format the storage card your either going to have to get a card reader for your computer and do it that way or there are PPC programs that allow you to format the storage card that do it from the device itself.
There might be a free program but I'm not sure. I use Resco Explorer 2007 and it allows me to format the card while in the phone.

to just browse + drag/drop, you can use press on the explore button in the ActiveSync window (shown in the attached image file - disabled because i didn't have the phone connected). that will open the my docs folder on you device, go up a level and you will be in the root that includes "storage card".
for large files though (maps, movies, etc) it is faster to take the card out of the device and use a card reader to make it a flash memory.

Sorry for my ignorance, but my ELF stopped synchronizing so is there a way I can explore the memory card that was in my ELF by introducing it directly into my computer?
