strange screen/wireless problem

Hi

Have been searching but unable to find any reference to the issue i'm having.

I've been running 1.2 sleuth fine on my orange Kaiser for a about a month now. Strange thing happened today, i tried to connect to a WEP network and my screen went blank! A soft reset reboots the phone, i get the htc boot screen then blank again! I have a WPA2 wireless connection at home which the phone connects to regualrly with no issues. Also connects to an unsecured connection no probs.

Only after a hard reset, which really is painfull, does the screen come back.

Any help advise much appreciated!
