Hello all...!
we start a project for the Touch Diamond device to get u guys a hardspl, cooked rom, and unlocker.

Diamond project Rom coming with multi languages and maybe WM7 in near future ;)

For us to achieve this we need donations for two devices:

• One for unlock cid, sim device
• One for cooker

We are already on our way to finish Hardspl for HTC Diamond so just awaiting for device to test it.


We are looking forward for this next great device with TouchFlo3D and for us to give you best Rom and service..

I am sure we are about 200 that wants Diamond. Refering to a poll in Niki section more than 100 persons want to buy it (considering the thread of the number of members that own dual).

200 * 3 euros = almost the price of the Diamond. You wouldn't pay 3 euros to have your Diamond unlocked with enhanced ROM ??:):)

Diamond project teams has 5 Roms from htc for diamond.That mean not need dump rom with it's me tools.
Just need devices for test hard-spl and rom cooker :)

I don’t see anything wrong with that. By using this place as a knowledge centre these people will get much more use out of the device and become more knowledgeable in the process.

Sounds great in theory, but that requires a lot of patience from existing members, and I take it you didn't see how heated things got in the Hermes/Kaiser forums?

The n00b bashing has been getting worse over the last couple of years, and I fear that it will get worse still when a load of "new-to-WM" Diamond users turn up with a new wave of very basic questions.

That said, it didn't seem to happen in the Elf forum, which was the last big consumer-oriented device from HTC - so I may well be worrying about nothing!

Perhaps now's the time to fill the Diamond Wiki with general WM6.1 information, answer all the questions that we just KNOW will be asked a million times, and try to get ahead of the n00bs to start with. Then fill in all the blanks as we go along. Just wish I had the spare time!

Could I be dumb enough to ask - where's the CID unlock (if any) or still in development? Ive been doing roms on Universal for a few weeks , am thinking to get a Diamond TONIGHT, but its locked to an operator and I cant seem to find a cid unlock. Help would be appreciated.

I meant sim unlock sorry. Its got works with a carrier's sim (eg. xx network) but if you put any other network wont work...thats sim unlock right ...so need a sim unlock :) any idea?

Indeed, that's sim unlock. I don't believe there is a free sim unlock tool right now. There are non-free posibilities though http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=394897&page=4

Are you guys working on incorperating bbconnect compatability into the new Roms - I soooooo hope so as I've been without for a few weeks now as I know a few others have? Walshieau has been working on a solution but no news yet? :confused:

Playing with the Iconsof the GUI is already Impressive! No on cracked that one yet me think.

Would there be a possibility to consider including "Apptodate" as it will help keeping add-ons and improvements ROM release dependent (example of TLR's release was a good innitiative and well aplauded thought off )

Just a quick question in regards to modding the TF3D UI - is this only going to be pre-modified or will there be an added config/settings app that will let us configure the look (i.e. colors, layout etc) of TF3D? If there was this added capability, this ROM will surely ROCK! (not disregarding performance and stability of course).

Just a quick question in regards to modding the TF3D UI - is this only going to be pre-modified or will there be an added config/settings app that will let us configure the look (i.e. colors, layout etc) of TF3D? If there was this added capability, this ROM will surely ROCK! (not disregarding performance and stability of course).

Thanks mate, its been hard work, i still the diamond has potential in been a great phone but need a good rom and custom twaeks and hard work, We will both release possibly two different new builds to choose from with all latest apps and so on son:)

I totally agree with you that the Diamond has the absolute potential to be a great phone - the hardware that has been packed into this tiny device is insane! It's just the ROM cookin' that's required by the top chefs and cooks to complete the perfection (:

Just donated £30 to the cause and really looking forward to trying out these new ROMS.

Cooked ROMS turned my ETEN X800 from a pig into a half useful device, so I'm really excited at what will be possible with the Diamond.

I don't think it has been requested already (apologies if it has), but please can you consider including the "GSen" utility which will flip the display between portrait and landscape mode for *every* program. http://s-k-tools.com/index.html?m_util.html

How many Chefs are working together on these ROM's anyway?

PS, you should have seen the faces from the HTC staff here in Taipei this afternoon when I showed them already some nice new applications made by some great guys here (Sasha, Boiringer 66, the guys from GSEN and those which I forgot whom all help to make this device worth his name)

To make all languages very difficult as I personally have all time, Tom really working hard on all languages but we decide to release WWE first I WILL doing Full Roms and Tom lite roms, If the feed back on roms are good then we will release other languages, i will start on germany version after the realease. for now its only Tom and I working on these Roms
