help-Inbox opens emails halfway down

Hi all,

I'm using a Tilt flashed to HTC ROM and it's been great for half a year.

Last week I started noticing that when I open an email, I don't see the header and first few lines of the body, rather the middle of the body appears. I've checked the settings and can't find what has changed.

Any assistance in figuring outr how to get back to normal would be greatly appreciated.

Use KaiserTweak to Disable "D-Pad Scroll Navigation" under the "PocketIE" section.

On a side note, I've seen this posted many, many times in the past (I actually had the same issue and found the solution without having to start a new thread), so please try to search for your answer before you post.

Honestly, as much as I've been in this forum, I don't ever remember seeing this. Maybe it was worded differently.

Intersting though, I did remove Kaiser tweak a while back to try and get around a very bad sync problem. The sync problem went away, but now I have this. I think I can live with this more than having to re-establish a sync relationship every day.

Hmm....that's sort of curious. As far as I know, KaiserTweak doesn't run in the background, so removing the .exe and .xml file shouldn't accomplish anything. Perhaps a change made by KaiserTweak could affect something, but having the program on your device or memory card shouldn't have any effect (and removing it wouldn't have undone any changes it made anyway). So if there was a particular change that caused a problem, you should still be able to run it and just change this one setting without affecting anything else.
