View Full Version : stay connected when using windows remote desktop GPRS

hello.

with kaisertweak i setup my device to disconnect GPRS after 2 mins idle time.

this works perfect when i dont use opera that time.

but when using remote desktop it always disconnect. is there a simple way to overrule this?

can any1 help me with this one? Its really annoying, i cant use windows remote desktop like this :S

I have the same problem here... I hope that someone can help us with this :)

I think it may be connected with the issue that RDM does not auto-connect, so the system does not see the fact that RDM is connected and just disconnects. Opera auto-connects, the system sees that it is running and does not disconnect.

PS: i dont want to use an alternative like logmein or something

Me too. You can't even compare the performance of RDM to the performance of logmein or vnc.

some1 replyd me with this, sounds a good solution :

Use for example ping in vxUtil....

so this continusly ping command keeps your connection open... have nog tried it though, but i think it wil work :)
