why would we donate to HTC? They make millions each year. Or are you suggesting that we donate to rom cooks? In that case many people who can afford it do donate. This thread is stupid and unnecessary.

@micgrob : essentially, the ROM is made by Ms moded by HTC, so theres no chance to donate a good quantity to any of both (the earn millions each year)

i ment donate to a mod on this site and contact the makers of the diamond rom, see if they could possibly make the diamond rom compatible on our device, or implement the graphics drivers into our kaiser roms

I've already donated $420 to HTC/ATT/Microsoft when I bought my phone back in October. :)

microgb, like someone else said, there is no 3rd party making ROMs for Diamond. Microsoft made Windows Mobile that HTC modifies and puts in their devices. Nobody else is involved in this ROM-making task. Think of XP or Vista that comes with Dell, Gateway, HP, etc. The OS is made my Microsoft but the individual companies add their craps or modify/tweak it a little bit and put it in their devices.

Well Well Well. I agree that this is such a good idea. I really love it since we can't get the proper driver by buying the phone. Therefore if we donate our money to this "LOVELY & GENEROUS" company, we definitely get the extra ordinary driver which will be, for sure, faster than the new incoming Nvidia chip + Driver phone. :D
