"Data crashes"! I need help!!!

Hi....
I made a mistake of trying out lokiwiz's tool to try & unlock the SIMLock on my Cingular 3100.
Now, whenever I insert a SIM card, I get a "Data crashes." error message. It stays on as long as the phone function is turned on so that I cannot use the phone for anything else.
I have the necessary files that the lokiwiz tool backed up to restore.
I've tried to restore the lock_backup.bin file (obtained with the lokiwiz0.3a program to obtain the SIM lock code) with lokiwiz0.2b but the error message still returns.
Does anyone know what is the problem? Is the phone useless now?
It seems the radio function that is activated by the presence of the SIM card is in an error state.
Anyone with experience with this, please point me in the right direction.
The warranty is out so sending the phone back to Cingular is out of the question & too costly.

Problem fixed using the supercid.bin file obtained during the SuperCID unlocking.
Now, to figure out how to SIM Unlock.

Hi Konker, I did the same as you trying the lokiwiz, I had the data crashes problem and then reflashed the supercid bin file back and this helped, now I am able to use any sim card in the phone but no signal (service) at all :(, after all this I was able to obtain the unlocking code from cingular but now I don't know where to enter it, as the phone receives any sim card and gives total access without showing the screen to enter the unlocking code, do you know how to reestablish the phone to it's original state where the unlock code is requested each time you enter a different sim?? :o
