htc magician display.toTV()

hi,
since my magician is totaly crashed (guess something with the ram) i´m wondering if i can use the display as a "mini TV" or maybe a Projector. Can someone tell me how to send the signal to the display?

P.S: i know the res is not enough for TV so i think i´ve to downscale the signal.
