Mda Vario Locked :(

Hi, forgive me I have searched the net & am just confused with all the info out there & I dont seem to be getting anywhere fast please help.....

I have the MDA Vario 2 with T-Mobile. My son has changed the unlock code on the front screen when you first turn the device on, I have tried so many combinations he thinks he inputted & none of them work. How do I now unlock the phone?

I have tried the whole hard reset thing but am unclear on which buttons exactly to press as threads on the net just state 'Soft keys' :s

Lost all my data but being a lucky chap I can restore most of it at work with my Sync cable. Again, many many thanks!

no problem - loss of data is better than a phone that cannot be used ;)
