faster SEARCH utility for WM6

on my treo 600 / 650 / 680 etc there was a really fast SEARCH utility that could search through my entire data in a matter of a few seconds.

On WM6 the search facility is LOUSY (and whats up with that 64kb BIG file nonsense??). I have approx 5000 contacts, 600 notes and tons of other data on outlook.

Anyone know of a FAST search uility out there?

This was one of the main issues that kept me from giving up my good old treo :(

It may be a bit of an overkill, but I found that the search function in
Pocket Informant 8 is quite decent and not too slow ;)

It lets you search through contacts, tasks, notes and calendar entries very easily.
And it does the job quite nicely for me.
