I am having a problem coming up with what roms have the Dual Data Connections enabled inside. This tweak allows for both BB Connect to be connected along with another data session (ie. MediaNet.) Some Cooks put it in thier thread that they are enabled for it yet most do not.

Can we continue this thread as a who supports it and who doesn't thread? I feel this will be much easier then flashing the rom, launching BB Connect and seeing if it will take it or not.

I know it has been said that kaisertweak and Advanced Config can enable max data sessions to "8" to get it but will not stick unless cooked in. Has this changed, or do we still need to have it cooked in?

Last part to this long set of questions... What memory allocation does BB Connect pull out of? I run Quick menu with available memory running in my top bar and find it odd that whether BB Connect is enabled or disabled the available running memory does not fluctuate. Does this mean it is running out of page pool memory? This leads me to ask what is the best page pool BB Connect users have found for performance and this program running?

Thank you all for contributing!

ROMS I have found to work

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dutty's 04/29 Hybrid (all variants) - also confirmed by TwinPeaks
Alex's 6.1V2CUBE
[May 25] L26_Kaiser_Diamond_Version_2 - confirmed by Laurentius26

Per GSLeon3 in his Multiple Data Sessions Hack post states these work also
1. Sleuth v1.2 WM6.0
2. Sleuth v3.0 WM6.1
3. Dutty Hybrid WM6.1[April 1]
4. Dutty Hybrid WM6.1 [April 9]
5. akadonny's DK rom 3.14

Dutty's 04/29 ROM definitely allows for both, though the device wakes up (full screen on) when receiving an email. Not sure if this is a ROM issue or what.

I think it is anything that is associated with any of the test At&t builds. They all seem to display the ghost wake up on recieving any information, whether from my rss hub/weather panel/xpress mail/bb connect.

Thanks for the response on the compatible rom!

This also explains why my battery life doesn't come close to what others experience. As a System Admin I get piles of emails....my screen wakes up constantly :(

i am with you on that all the way. I think i send and recieve 100 emails a day and with rss updating once an hour and weatherpanel every 30 minutes it kills my battery. Yet i am more then willing to give up battery life for having what i want when i want it :)

I also would go as far as just having the dual data connections active has to be draining the battery faster in itself --- anyone have a confirmation on this, and maybe a reasoning on why not all cooks put this hack into thier roms?
