I want to try this ROM, but after 2 upgrades, hard-reset, soft-reset, etc., my Trinity was stuck on the white HTC initial screen. 10 minutes waiting and nothing happened.
Have to flash another ROM...
Anyone with the same problem?
It's a shame because I really like to try it.

mmmhmm no problem on the upgrade everything went normally on first upgrade, did a hard-reset took memory card out, boot-loader mode and run the upgrade ;) went normally u should try this rom its a very good work

The only difference was I not taked out the memory card... you think could be that?
I tested again after my post, flash original vodafone WM5, re-flash PTG Rom and this time was a black screen, stuck even before the white HTC initial screen :(
I'm very dissapointed but I will try later one more time but without the memory card.

The process is almost the same I do.
Is not the first time I flash a ROM and the hole process goes well, no error "X", nothing; everything goes normal, but after flash ended, first boot and stuck... I never saw the Operative System.
May be I'll wait until anyone got the same problem or any new idea from the cooker.

I don´t know exactly what correct the problem but I flash the ROM again and this time everything works fine.
I follow VIPPER2004's advice and remove the memory card, but don't know why, this time I use Des' Crash-Proof SPL instead Olipro's Hard-SPL 1.20.
Sometime I read people have problems with one or another and maybe this time makes all the difference.
Hope this could help somebody with the same problem.

The Rom is working fast and stable. At the moment battery drain is normal compared with original WM5.
No loosing password or settings after a few soft-resets.
Tom Tom and iGo8 are running very well.

I think i don't understand, if u want to turn 3g of go to comm manager a turn it of, or just Start/setting/phone/band and set it in gsm :) but i think thats not the answer u are looking for ;) its pretty permanent until u turn it back again ;)

Hi.
I'm not an expert but, if you can understand english very well, take a look at:

You need to SuperCID your phone, and don't forget to use Hard-SPL before flash any ROM, to prevent damage your Trinity.

In fact what I want is the possibility to turn off the 3G only... not the GSM. At Comm Manager I only have the options:

- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- Telefone

...and in other ROM's there are more possibilities, like 3G, ActiveSync, etc...

For me it opens a window saying "Correio do Outlook" "Para criar uma nova mensagem, pressione menu .........etc". Is this a bug and was it suppose to happen something else?

Yes, build 19212 from shipped KAISER_PTG which means that is the latest official portuguese wm6.1 OS, as far as I know...

Ervius has great tools to do it. Convert cab into packages with package creator and insert it in my dumped rom.

I found the bug in WLive. Old package OEMMisc (from dopod wm6) must be replaced with updated one (i replaced with the KAISER WM6.1 PTG and it works!)

First of all, a great work. Use other language diferent than English has double merit.

You need to change the MediaOs folder with the new MediaOs from Kaiser.

I don't know if you can change the content (of the folder) online or you should cook another ROM.

This was my first non official rom and I have to say: it was worthy the wait.

It's stable, a little slower than 5.0 but still fast enough and... everything in Portuguese!

As I was building all over again because of severl bugs, i restarted from extracting and repackaging all kaiser wm6.1 oem packages to cook them. I share them specially to other non-wwe rom cookers as i think translation process will become easier.

Packages are made in diamond-style, with app_LCID separated from main folder and with autoshortcut mxipupdate.provxml, no initflashfiles.txt and option.xml

Please send me your feedback because there are packages such as mHub, DShow and others that might not contain the rigth files.

Do I actually read on previous posts someone stating that the sync problems are WM6.1's? Because I was starting to think they were my devices fault, is it?:confused:

Every time I try to sync I got stuck on the calendar initial sync and then BYE BYE rom! No mater what I do, I will have to hard reset or flash again, a process, that I still could not pick exactly stops WM from recovering after soft-reset and keeps processor at peak use, thus slowing down all other processes.:eek:

It is happening on your ROM, Finix and others. Mysteriosly it do not happen when the calendar appointments are few. I have over than 120 appointments (most birthday notes...):o

On the other subject: Did I read "an app that convert cab into OEM package", from Ervius? That's another thing I want to know: I "Brazuca" and one of or ops has just brought HTC Kaiser with Brazilian Portuguese ROM. How can I backup it/extract it from the Kaiser so I can cook/reflash it lately? Is there an app for it?:confused:

In kaiser forum there is a tutorial about extract and reconstruct kaiser roms. See in this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=360200)thread about extracting polaris portuguese rom, it will also works in kaiser.
Please share with us the PTB ROM, and my next release will be PTG|PTB ROM!!

As far as the battery icon in the titlebar:

1) Edit this registry key, that turns the clock in the today screen titlebar in a battery icon:

2) A today screen plugin like this one:

Guys, i'm already running a 4.01 alpha version which includes DShow 2.0, ShareDll and LockstreamDRM ported from kaiser. Guess what, it works! except a "little" bug that makes it nothing but a alpha version - 3gp codec doesn't work and videos recorded with camera don't play in wmp. But now i can play some mp4 videos that old trinity didn't play!

Of course I won't release a rom which don't play recorded videos. If you want to test it, please PM me.

So I will proceed with my research trying to port some updated drivers from other devices

Isto é um forum internacional e como tal deverias colocar a tua mensagem em inglês também.

Tipicamente actualizo a rom com o activesync desligado e o pda no modo de bootloader (fazer um soft reset com o botão de power e da camara pressionados ao mesmo tempo). Verifica se estas a fazer do mesmo modo.

Tipically I perform my rom updates with activesync off and the pda in bootloader mode (by doing a soft reset with the power and camera buttons pressed at the same time). Check if you are doing it the same way.

Dear g77 now my most Congratulations on this excellent work, will have some time that I follow in their footsteps here in this forum and is already at 3 ROM that install and always without problems

Then present some bugs that ate found the time.

In menu definições appears the "USB to PC", which also appear on the ligações "USB para PC" and "USB to PC"

Also appearing repeated the options for energy only changing the icon.

In Comm Manager will not open the options of LAN sem Fios.
In menu ligações to select LAN sem Fios the word that appears on top is by chance that "Installningar" already happened in previous ROM.

De seguida apresento alguns bugs que encontrei ate ao momento.

Nas definições aparece o "USB para PC", que também aparecem nas ligações "USB para PC" e "USB to PC"
Aparecem também repetidas as opções de energia só mudando o icon.
No Comm Manager não abrem as opções de LAN sem Fios.
No menu Ligações ao seleccionar LAN sem Fios a palavra que aparece em cima é Installningar que por acaso já acontecia na ROM anterior.

- "USB para PC" (Definições > Ligações) will be removed since it doesn't work.

- Comm Manager will be replaced by Diamond one

- "LAN sem fios": i tried to port WLANSettings + Lang MUI from diamond without success. It's the only one that works on trinity, it was ported from hermes.

- RSS Hub creates a root directory called "internal storage" instead of saving xml files in program files folder. That will be corrected next build.

- Didn't include QuickGPS because it never worked in my trinity.

- Random Access doesn't exists.


Honestly I've made this update because these are minor errors comparing to the old version.

Hi i'm new to mobile rom's etc, so i tried alot today and finaly i got WM6.1 on my 3600.

Also i installed tomtom 7 navigator but it cant find the build in gps, funny thing is if i chose extern gps with bluetooth it finds the build in gps and works lol does it make any sense?

Anyway i did read somethings about activate the gps chip with a rom, and i need some help with that. So can anyone help me a bit.

Yeah, I know. Diamond's EnlargeStartMenu comes without control panel settings applet as Polaris does. Let's see if we can manage a solution for this!

thanks for your help but already got software to "open" the ROM and already managed to take up the issue of there and am using it and leave it attached to those who want to use.

opportunity to make two suggestions for new updates, a software and a change of appearance
1 st. Lordsmiff's Battery Level (as image: pc_capture1.jpg) as you can see adds a small bar at the top indicating the battery consumes very few resources.
2 nd when the change of the HOME for the new look (as diamond image: Diamond_v2.0.jpg).

after 2 days no point in this new version.

aproveito para deixar duas sugestões para novas actualizações, um software e uma alteração de aspecto
1ª. Lordsmiff's Battery Level (conforme imagem: pc_capture1.jpg) como podem ver adiciona uma pequena barra no topo com a indicação da bateria consome muito poucos recursos.

when I flash this ROM (it could be any other ROM) my storage card get encripted. nobody can explain why this is appening, and nobody have a solution!!! neither from microsoft. the unique solution is to make a full backup of the storage card before doing an update to the PDA ROM (aplicable to any WM6.1 ROM)

Let me guess: you have a EncFiltLog.menc hidden file in sd root? Sorry for what happened to your sd card, you're right: nobody can recover a wm encrypted card! The problem is probably on LSFILTER registry entry found in boot.rgu of latest XIPS. I've removed it since i think it's not necessary for normal os function.

By the way: BT doesn't works properly. Here's a cab for fix it (thanks Zoko!)

Olá, tenho testado a ROM e até agora ,para além dos Bugs detectados, só detectei mais um, que para mim dá-me muito jeito. a VIDEO CALL.
Não consigo fazer video calls, ele inicia a chamada mas quando a outra pessoa atende ele, o telemovel abre o menu "hoje", e permanece assim ate e eu reeniciar o tm.
Alguem teve o mesmo problema?
Existe fix?

Hi, i've been testing this rom and so far, regarding the bugs already posted, i only found one more, the VIDEO CALL.
I can't make any video calls, the device starts the call but, when the recening device answers the call,the "today" menu just pops-up, and he stays like that until i reset the phone.
Does someone had the same problem?
Is there a fix?

This ROM has little Diamond User Interface apps and this means that you won't visually notice diamond improvements (except MP3 trimmer and Streaming Media apps that are diamond skinned). This happens because diamond UI apps are VGA and Trinity is QVGA and full porting these apps is not so simple, most of the times you would have to patch dlls to turn them QVGA! It's a question of "Core building" versus "UI appearence". You'll see much of diamond style apps around here in xda but I assure you that most of them are old build apps with new skins, not real executable port. There's an excellent app that is an important approach to Diamond UI that is much more than simple skinning wm and that's called ThrottleLauncher (http://www.throttlelauncher.com/portal/). Try it if you want to feel a Diamond in your Trinity!!!

Here diamond porting is made essencially in "invisible" apps that I called "Core" and run in background such as DShow and PictureEnhancement but it's my believe that they may improve system performance and functionality.

Yes I could skin my rom with diamond visual style but that would sound like "fake", and that is definitly not my goal!


Now about 3G Video Calling: VideoTelephony is ported from Diamond and has new codecs. Now I know they don't work!!...:( Next build will return to original package. Try this cab to revert to original Trinity's Video Telephony.

I´ve flashed my trinity 2 days ago, so far so good, everything perfect with one exception: every time the device returns from sleep, the timeout of backlight on battery power turns to 10 seconds, which is somehow annoying. Any trick to overcome this? Thanks in advance.

I don't think it has to do with the rom or the radio version, cause I've tried both different roms and different radio roms and i have the same problem that you do, with tomtom 7 the internal gps receiver doesn't work (i think it has to do with tomtom because with I GO it worked finne and tomtom 6 to...so i don't think it is a PDA problem)

If anyone finds a fix or is using tomtom 7 on P3600 pls say something!!!

Hmmm... Never notice delay on wake up. Again maybe timewizard or lsfilter on XIP/boot.rgu that is absent on original trinity xip.

Radio version, Trinity Radio 1.56.70.11 works ok on mine, and tomtom6 or 7 you need to configure whit the option "other gps nmea" or else it dont work.

Until now the WM6.1 is excellent, to be perfect only lacked a theme was black or gray.

g77 tenho dois problemas que não sei se serão bugs.

1º - cada vez que desligo ou faço um soft reset ao pda tenho que aumentar o volume em chamada, pois volta sempre a um volume inferior.

2º - o windows live messenger não tem os alertas sonoros e vibração a funcionar aquando da recepção de uma mensagem.

Well I can install my cabs, it's the same trinity with the same ROM. Ensure that you have version g77.4.20.8830 instead of g77.4.2.8829.

I have the version in the first page of this thread. My trinty is on HTC to change the covers in warranty, cause its free, wednesday i will test it.

I also received mine today. New covers and also they repaired my vibrating(damaged by drop).

Everything for free, so only good things to Portuguese HTC Repair Center :D

Hey, have you already tried to fix contacts and appointments in desktop outlook, such as find duplicate items and delete them? Once I also had that kind of problems and fix them that way. Other of cause is wpa security on wifi networks that causes the advanced network connection to fail with activesync...

If there is NetCF3.5 then it is g77.4.20.8830 and filename or version inside RUU or ROM is a mistake.

If there is NO NetCF then it is g77.4.20.8829.

(Please note that I'm running a post-8830 test build with NetCF2.0)

No, there isn't Voice Command in this ROM. But I could include it again in the next build if you want...

1. This ROM has not diamond Lool because apps that gives the diamond look dont run in our trinity. What you see in other roms that looks quite like diamond is just skin and 3rd party apps like trottlelauncher which btw is a excelent app. But IS NOT ORIGINAL DIAMOND! I never made a diamond rom for the look, I only took the software that is compatible with Trin.

2. Please someone check for me if the rom in 1st post has NETCF 3.5!! Like I said I am running a test rom that I've made after build 8830.

i just can open an GPRS or 3G data connection (Internet or MMS) just after turn on my p3600 or soft rest them. if for example i turn on the device in the morning and in the lunch anyone send me an mms i can't receive that because the data connection don't work properly i need to soft reset and after that call the mms connection and the same problem with the Internet connection...

Yeah, you're right. I forgot to update build number in registry before create rom, that's why it shows 8829 instead of 8830! But believe me it is the only trace of 8829 in this new build!

Outro problema que tive é quando estou numa zona de gprs na barra não de aparece o simbolo G, as se estiver numa zona 3G ja aparece, existe alguma solução?

i just can open an GPRS or 3G data connection (Internet or MMS) just after turn on my p3600 or soft rest them. if for example i turn on the device in the morning and in the lunch anyone send me an mms i can't receive that because the data connection don't work properly i need to soft reset and after that call the mms connection and the same problem with the Internet connection...

I have no problems with send and recieve mms. Try to run Definições>Ligações>Configuração de ligação.

Come on, ther's got to be a problem here. Unfortunately i've first uploaded here a version 8829 that did not included NETCF but then this was replaced by CURRENT version 8830 which has NETCF 3.5. You should check version in RUU before flash, it should be 8830. Or install a NETCF (2.0 or 3.5) in order to get your programs to run properly. Remember, without any NETCF programs wrote in .NET won't run!

I'm making a new build from OMNIA's latest PTG OS (build 20270, which btw is the latest ORIGINAL PTG build, not cooked like current 20273)!...

No XIP 20270 for now and I can't extract it, I'll wait to get it to release 4.3. Manilla2D is in development, I think for now is better to daily install the latest cab rather than release a new updated ROM everyday!

i flashed to my trinity, reboot and ok... in the boot it apears "D 0.00" (its normal?) , then turn on and in apears all normal and wen i finish the first time config it apears "A Executar CheckSDConfig.exe" and it STOPS... it freezes... i have to make a soft reset to make it work:(

BTW: the rom e VERY fast but i cant make 3G calls... the video buttons have pink dots in the corners (lol)... the java app dont work and dont apear on the programs menu and i cant install *.jar.
in the comm manager the Wlan swith dont work
i see a litle low memory free after sometimes.

quando aparece o aviso que vai personalizar dentro de 3 segundos, aparece a barra mas depois bloqueia passados uns segundos enquanto esta na funcao "A executar CheckSDConfig", para sair dai tenho que fazer um soft-reset para resolver o problema (penso eu que resolve...) :(

pelo que vi nos poucos minutos: é estavel e bastante rapida o teclado QWERTY completo nao tem portugues... podes adicionar? esta rom nao tem o touch flo? podes adicionar ou activar? gostei do boot da HTC animado e com som :)
a video chamada nao funciona, falha sempre mesmo com rede 3G e os respectivos botoes aparecem com pixels rosa nos cantos (lol) a aplicacao de java nao aparece no menu Programas e nao se consegue instalar quaisquer app java *.jar.
No gestor de comunicacoes o botao da wi-fi nao funciona.
reparo por vezes com memoria baixa para os programas...
espero que isto te ajude a fazeres a rom perfeita

Hy there , im new on htc's and rom's and wtv :) i was testing this new g77 rom and i have some questions.

- Can i edit the touchflow? I would like to put a block keyboard / screen in my initial screen and i cant.

- Can i edit the meteo citys?

- And if we dont do erase on the report of the delivery message on the touchflow inicial screen , we have to enter the report and then delete can we change that to show delete initial message menu ?
