prophet problem when making and received a call...

im new here...
i need ur all suggestion
im using 818 pro for 1 year....
after warranty finish a few days
my propphet having a problem
when i make or received a call....
i can't hear anything, same with other person....
is it speaker and mic problem?
but i can play music, video and ringtones as good as new....
some person said i can try to flasing to wm6.1...
can anybody help me.....

1. if you can make recordings with you prophet, that means the mic. of it is working fine,

2. can hear music, that mean the speaker in fine.....

3. well, did you mute your phone?

4. or alternatively, you may try to flash other roms, but,

5. you can also try to hard reset you phone before starting any further.. ^_^

i've try using original handsfree but still can't solve this matter...
i will try to use bluetooth handfree...
i hope i can use back my prophet.....after buying new phone...

hardware problem...
ive had this several months back...
its due to using the headphone a lot of the time that causes the metal in the audio jack to damage or lose its "spring"ity..hehe...

theres way to fix it...try find some post in xda

my problem not fram audio jak . i tryed that .
i cann't use headset and handsfree whit wire . i can only use hadsfree bluetooth . and when i chenge my device ROM the headset work but after 10 min or 15min or few more that not work . early after softrest that work but after few hours again headset not work . and when i use over and over for several time of headset that work and again after few minutes headset not work .

3. I am afraid you need to replace the ear-piece of your prophet to dig your way out.

( or re-flash you prophet will be an alternative, to see if really a chance for software problem)

1. flash other rom (you may click and follow the steps @ my signature ),

2. bring your phone to repair

Strange, my other prophet (Xda Neo) has this issue, I think it is HW. I tried flashing Radio Rom, but no luck, also I changed earpiece but no luck. I will try flashing WM6, bluetooth headset works fine, very strange.

i have send it to 3 shops to repair....
1st shop said board problem....to replaced very costly better buy new 1
2nd shop --- can repair but no spare part
3rd shop --- ic problem..after replaced the ic my prophet back to normal again...

There are separate speakers for hands free and earphone on xda neo (htc prophet) as i know, i had a problem with hands-free (music) speaker but i could still hear when making calls.
I don't know if this is going to help you, or you already solved it.
