I am in the process of upgrading my O2 XDA EXEC to WM6 using the WM6PreRelease version.
My O2 XDA EXEC is currently unlocked.
If the upgrade goes wrong, I intend to "hard reset" the system to the factory defaults.
Therefore I have two questions:

i - After a "hard reset", will I need to re-unlock my XDA?
ii - And will a simple "hard reset" restore to the original ROM without issue?

Thanks

ones unlocked, it will stay unlocked, if something goes wrong during upgrade then your original ROM is gone and you need to reflash it.
