I have been testing applications on it and I will keep this thread updated. (I can test whatever application you want)

According to this thread on the Kaiser part of the forum, the agps makes IGO reboot all the time. It must be disabled.

If you now how to disable agps on your diamond, can you test IGO6 and 8 again ?

Do you have a Touch Diamond? If you do could you try the following program for me.

It’s called Worms World Party from Jamdat if you can download the demo, and see if it’s easy to aim, you should have 6/7 steps between horizontal and vertical aim. It only gives me 3 steps on the orbit due to the roller ball not being sensitive enough.

Just got Diamond today and briefly tried running CorePlayer v1.24. It seems QtvDisplay mode is not working - got a blank screen. Switching to Raw Frame Buffer did show the video okay tho.

Update: It looks like CorePlayer 1.24 has problem running Qtv mode on TyTn II with WM6.1 too. Gotta wait for 1.25 which will be out soon according to the author.

I had problems with iGO8 on my P3650 Touch Cruise and i found out that if you disable "Assisted GPS" it will work. I used Pocket Toolman (http://pockettoolman.blogspot.com/) to disable that. I did deleted those two files in the "2577" folder and made myself an shortcut that i placed in \Windows\Start Menu folder. Now it works like a charm. When you don't disable Assisted GPS it crashes all the time. Hope this will help. ;)

SPB Pocket Plus gave me an error while installing the weather component. It conflicts with the Touch 3D Flo, 3D flo overrides the SBP. Even when I remove the Touch Flo 3D, SBP works but gave error on backlight button. I dont reccoment SBP Pocket Plus with Diamon at this moment

Tested both "write anywhere" or "write pad" , and works great. I did not have to disable touch flo.

Pocket Informant 8 works on the Diamond but doesn't integrate with the Touch Flow interface. You need to open the calender and contacts from the programs tab or from the regular Start menu. There might be a way around this but I haven't played with it.

Works fine (I used the .zip attached to the first post of that thread). Benchmark on my 700Mb, 90 minute, 640x480, Xvid file is about 110% using RawFrameBuffer or GDI, and 95% using DirectDraw.

Coreplayer 1.2.5 using Qtv works noticeably better in my opinion, but it's benchmark is only a little better at 125%...

Untick the Stop Running Processes box and then try again. Version 2 is working great on mine after that.

thanks! it does a lot of sense. the spb can not stop the touchflow. it also mean that best time to do the backup is only after a soft reset - with a minimum of processes running.
i guess that another way to do it is to stop htcflow (settings\today\items, untick htcflow) and start the spb.....going to try it when i'll get home.

Hi guys,
carefull with NAVIGON 6.5, there was the "tunnel-bug" in version 6.2. Means NAVIGON stopped navigation after gps-signal was lost (e.g. while driving through a tunnel). I am sure this problem will still occure in version 6.5.....

Sprite Backup? Came on the CD that's in the box with my Diamond, so even if you didn't receive it with your Diamond it should work well enough (otherwise it would be a bit dumb of HTC to package it...)

Dammit, that's the only one I didn't want to see here that had a problem :( I travel so much and rely on the alarm so heavily that this is literally a deal breaker for me. I remember I had the same problem with moving to WM5 prior to SPB Time 2.0...

Works fine (I used the .zip attached to the first post of that thread). Benchmark on my 700Mb, 90 minute, 640x480, Xvid file is about 110% using RawFrameBuffer or GDI, and 95% using DirectDraw.

Coreplayer 1.2.5 using Qtv works noticeably better in my opinion, but it's benchmark is only a little better at 125%...

I have Spb Backup 2. On a non scheduled backup, it gets to Que.exe, then it resets the device. The backup does not finish.

I have ROM 1.35. Any thoughts or similar experiences?

sprite backup HTC Edition 6.2.1 works perfectly on the diamond.
This version is downloadable from www.htc.com once you register your diamond S/N to e-club and look for updates.

Problem with Sprite is that it gives an error when trying to use it in Flight Mode. Seems strange to me, but I tried a zillion times. If not in Flight Mode, it does indeed work...

MS Voice command 1.6 build 17913 is not compliant with stock 1.34 and TLR ROM.

I gave it a few tries, running an exe and a cab and both ways, and "unrecoverable error generated by MSVC" shows up after install.

Soft reboot --> tap settings--> phone freezes and only hard reset can clean the MSVC junk.
if anyone has a solution on this one, be my guest.

TripYzee: ptater's 4shared version does no show properly. Use TripYzee V2.0 which supports VGA. Google it

PocketController PRo works perfect with crisp clear VGA image on your desktop (enlarge Cache size through reg tweak for proper icon's in settings / programs)

Working fine:

ScummVM (with Roms from Day of the Tentacle, and Full Trottle)
on 2x scaled it works just perfect, very nice screen, sound and usage.
I am pretty sure other roms work just fine also.

Ive just tried Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 for PPC and this works perfectly on the Diamond, no lag, and the action buttons are part of the touch screen! So can jump, grind etc whilst moving about. This game brings back memories! :)

It really works! just in my case, i needed to write sth like that:

app="Internal Storage/iGo8"

as internal memory of my htc touch diamon p3700 is called "Internal Storage" and iGo8 is the folder where i put my iGo :o)

initially, i wrote "%Internal Storage%/iGo8", and I ended up with creating a new folder (on the same level as my interlan memory called: Internal Storage) with such a name "%Internal Storage%" and iGo inside :P

When I deleted all the unnecesarily created folder, and left just the correct one, I run iGo without problems :D
