Hello all!
I bought a used wizard on ebay and the seller said he'd had the camera upgraded to a 3 MP camera and the soundboard upgraded to a Bose mini amp and speakers.Well, the camera doesn't seem any better than a 1.3 MP and the sound is no louder/better than you would expect from a normal PDA.
There were other inconsistencies, such as no stylus,no sync cable,no second charger,no case,no 2GB memory and I am opening a dispute.
The sync/charge connector is also loose and I can't sync or charge it.
My question is,is it possible for those upgrades to have been done and can the sync connector be repaired if I decide to keep it?
Thankyou for any help you can give me!

Unless those "upgrades" were done by the manufacture or somebody like that, I wouldn't have taken their word for it that those were done. The sync connector should be repairable, but why? You basically got nothing other than a questionable PDA. I would defintely open up that dispute, return the wizard, get your money back and find one from a reputable dealer.

Thankyou Comp,
I am disputing it,but I want to know if it is possible for those upgrades to be done and if a Bose mini amp even exists,I want to nail this guy if he cheated me!:o

I've never heard of a Bose mini amp in a PDA device, i'm sure Bose would put that on their website if they did. The smallest thing I've seen them do are those in ear headphones. I could be wrong. Like I said, those upgrades can be possible but more likely by the manufacturer. I think you've been cheated out of your money, but that's just me.

Um to be honest im wondering how you fell for something like that? still like computron said its preety improbable ( bordering on the impossible) that someone would "upgrade" a phone like that , with all the effort and money it would cost i think it would be cheaper to buy a newer one with better specifications. End result next time search a little before u commit to buying, information is the key.
