I don't think you should "openly display" your intentions. Hacking is a Greay area of the Law. I think for the most part its about "intent" and Its ovbious that you have "intent to cause harm" to their computer.

Yes Yes I know "they did it first" but this isn't the Wild West. You can't just take the law into your own hands.
